1 To manage volunteers in terms of their recruitment, placement, recognition / appreciation and training.
2 To create and maintain a volunteers' database.
3 To coordinate visits to the Home.
4 To orientate and conduct tour of the Home’s facilities and programmes for visitors and volunteers.
5 To attend to the liaison and the handling of gifts to the Home.
6 To be in-charge of publicity of the Home.
7 To identify programme needs of the residents and Day Care clients in collaboration with the respective Professional staff.
8 To plan, organise and coordinate programmes, outings and social-recreational activities for the residents and Day Care clients.
9 To maintain records of programmes, activities and outings etc.
10 To attend and partake in the discussion of Individual Care Plan (ICP) of residents and Day Care clients.
11 To compile and submit periodical reports and statistics.
12 To take minutes of meetings when necessary.
13 To cover the duties of staff in the Social Services Department in their absence.
14 To perform any other reasonable duties that may be required by the Executive Director or Head of Social Services Department.
