The Facilities Management team is responsible for ensuring that our buildings and facilities support the empowerment and inclusion of our users. Treasury Manager (Cash Management/European MNC)

Our client is a leading European organisation and has 2 new positions as expansion plans.

Depending on experience it could also be a lower budget for a treasury executive.

OVERALL SUMMARY

The role of this function is to:

• Manage the liquidity position of the Group, including effecting payments and monitoring receipts
• Responsible for all aspects relating to bank accounts and cash management platforms

Reporting into the Senior Manager Treasury.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Reconciliation of cash/account balances (actual vs anticipated receipts) including foreign currency
• Maintaining up-to-date spreadsheets on a number of accounts
• Arranging payments and ensuring sufficient cash reserves for upcoming payments across various bank accounts including in foreign currencies
• Optimising interest income on cash balances, fixing money market deposits with banks/financial institutions
• Following up with banks on payments and receipts as well as general communication
• Checking bank charges and interest accrued (both credit and debit)
• Preparation of cash flow projections & reports.
• Maintenance/opening of bank accounts (including those pledged to banks)
• Updating details of bank accounts, authorized signatories, addresses etc.
• Responsible for all “Know Your Client” documentation
• Co-ordinating with banks the Annual Audit Confirmation required by Auditors
• Performing compliance checks on the payment transactions
• Keeping in constant contact with Principals, and other companies working for the same Principals
• Responsible for ensuring that cash/account balances are within counterparty limits
• For Cash Manager, mentoring/coaching of Treasury Executive, Cash Management (if any)

Qualification / Experience

• At least 5 years (for Cash Manager) in similar cash management function of a corporation
• At least 3 years (for Treasury Executive, Cash Management) in similar cash management function of a corporation
• Degree in Finance/Accounting/Business
• Flair for numbers, meticulous and possess good planning skills
• Good communication skills – spoken and written English, and familiarity with banking terms as well as corporate secretarial requirements

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordination with stakeholders of different levels (customers, contractors, vendors) on project maintenance work
• Deployment of software and hardware at sites
• Work with procurement to source for materials and equipment requited for project
• Attend site meetings and be involved in discussion on all project related activities with clients
• Work with stakeholders to plan and schedule site activities, ensuring sufficient materials and manpower support
• Execute responsive preventative and corrective maintenance for system
• Perform system analysis and troubleshooting
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma and/or Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• Basic Experience in AutoCAD Software
• Supervision for subcontractors for site work
• Training provided

Job Description

The candidate is to assist the asset management team across Asia Pacific as follows:

• Support strategies to maximize performance and enhance assets by working with internal stakeholders (leasing, property management team and country managers) to formulate action plans with respect to optimising operating expenses and capital expenditure management
• Carry out projects under development, AEI, asset valuation, asset review and hold-sell analysis for the assets under management.
• Assist to analyse and implement effective lease management in areas like deal structuring, renewal & customer retention strategies, customer & asset risk assessment eg. Know Your Clients and arrears monitoring.
• Prepare & consolidate budgets and periodic forecasts relating to net property income and capital expenditure of the portfolio, variance analysis with review of actual performance against budget and asset plan.
• Reporting - consolidate and analyse data at individual property and portfolio level for periodic quarterly reporting with investors. Prepare monthly and quarterly reports and presentation slides outlining asset performance for internal management and investors.
• Co-ordinate initiatives for the team across countries in the areas like Compliance, Environmental, Social & Governance, Health Safety and Environment, audit etc.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Business/ Finance / Estate Management or its equivalent, with flair for numbers.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in asset management in real estate/ data centre sector, with proven track record in managing projects under development or asset enhancement initiatives.
• Exposure in international Real Estate or Data Centre industry would be an added advantage.
• Self-motivated, resourceful team player with good people management skills and able to lead initiatives independently.

Job Duties:

• Develop and implement talent management strategies and initiatives to attract, develop, and retain top talents
• Act as a HRBP and assist in workforce planning and staffing management, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and determining plans for recruitment as needed
• Partner with HR department and business leaders to conduct talent assessments to ensure strong talent pipeline
• Support the performance management processes
• Identify high-potential employees and create development plans to nurture their growth
• Evaluate the effectiveness of talent management programs and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• At least 1-2 years of Talent management/talent partner/recruitment consultant experience
• Degree in HR, Business or related
