The Facility Management Director will oversee the comprehensive management and maintenance of retail fuel stations. This role involves ensuring the efficient operation, safety, and compliance of all facilities within the programme. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in facility management, particularly within the retail fuel industry, and possess strong leadership and strategic planning skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement facility management strategies to ensure the optimal operation of all retail fuel stations.
• Budget Management: Prepare and manage the annual budget for facility operations, maintenance, and capital improvements.
• Maintenance Oversight: Oversee routine and preventive maintenance of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all facilities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards. Conduct regular inspections and audits.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with contractors and service providers. Negotiate contracts and ensure quality service delivery.
• Project Management: Lead and coordinate renovation, refurbishment, and new construction projects. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure emergency preparedness and response plans are in place.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a team of facility management professionals. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Sustainability Initiatives: Implement and promote sustainable practices to reduce environmental impact and operational costs.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on facility conditions, operational efficiency, and financial performance to senior management.

• Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in facility management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the retail fuel industry.
• Strong knowledge of building and fuel systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations.
• Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of managing large-scale programmes.
• Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or equivalent are highly desirable.

Working Conditions:

• This role may require travel to various retail fuel station locations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
