Our client is a FMCG Industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Associate (Inventory Management) to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the West.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage demand planning and ordering to maintain optimal inventory levels in distribution centers and warehouses
• Collaborate with a team of inventory planners to meet Service Level and Costing KPIs while resolving operational issues
• Liaise with buyers, suppliers, warehouses, and stakeholders to coordinate deliveries and ensure smooth operations
• Handle inventory-related matters, including clearance of short shelf-life or aging stock, resolving stock discrepancies, processing store allocations, and generating reports
• Oversee stock allocation to various store formats
• Participate in projects and contribute to process improvements within the organization

Job Qualifications:

• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in Inventory Planning and Ordering (preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
• Knowledge of SAP systems (advantageous)

Job Description:

• Audit & Vetting performance monitoring and preparation for vetting in close liaison with in-house Marine, Operations & Technical Departments
• Arrange office interviews with all stakeholders for seagoing Officers
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of Crew Department personnel
• Prepare crewing budget and follow up crewing account matter
• Maintain, update, and disseminate company instruction to vessel, manning office and concerned parties
• Lead and oversee various activities for the welfare and morale programs for sea personnel and their families and union matters

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Human Resources, or relevant discipline will be advantageous
• Minimum 5 years of experience in maritime crewing operations
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Strong knowledge of international maritime regulations and standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in crewing management software (Danaos/ShipMate)

Position Summary:

Coordinate responses to customer inquiries for spare parts requirements and facilitates delivery problem resolution. Coordinate collection and processing of supplier and/or customer data and/or information regarding delivery of spare parts, provisioning products or related services. Enters, tracks, monitors and coordinates customer material, delivery requirements and returns for customer orders.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reviews customer purchase orders to assess requirements.
• Process and maintain customer purchase orders (e.g., order entry, etc.) inputting in Cardex (ERP) and portal management.
• Interacts with the different positions in the warehouse as well as with other functions such as Sales and Quality to ensure that orders are resolved in an acceptable time frame.
• Prioritizes orders with issues based on required ship date and performs analysis on whether orders can proceed without additional input.
• Performs research in Cardex (ERP) to potentially resolve order issues.
• Reviews and actions open orders that are pending resolution.
• For all critical orders, ensures timeliness of shipment through internal coordination and liaison with other functional stakeholders.
• Monitors / Expedites orders with high complexity and urgency.
• Resolves customer claims with functional departments (Accounting, Quality Assurance, etc.), Credit & Rebill, Return Material Authorization process, determine root cause, recommend and implement corrective actions; support Account Receivables with cash collection.
• Maintain Pipeline health on part usage/demand on existing contract, program, etc. in collaboration with Customer, Sales, Planner, etc.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

• Experience in Program Management and/or Customer Support
• Experience in a warehouse environment
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work in a very fast-faced environment with a high degree of accuracy
• Ability to effectively multi-task
• Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
• Proficient knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) applications
