Role Summary

We are looking to find a Manager, to be based out of our home offices in Singapore. You should have the right to work in Singapore. Note we will be hiring on a rolling basis and are currently looking for three manager roles in total across London, Accra, Washington DC, Dubai and Singapore, each for a fixed-term contract of 24 months.

In recognition of the growing client interest in solutions delivered with TBI partners, we are looking for talented managers to join a newly formed Partnerships Flex-Pool team. TBI works closely with our government clients and partners to innovate and accelerate delivery of results. We support our clients and partners to develop and activate proof-of-concepts and partner solutions, with an aim of rapid learning and iteration to implement at scale.

The Partnerships Flex-Pool, which this role will form part of, will provide interim, dedicated, in-country support (for deployments of between 3-6 months) to the scoping and delivery of new partnership proof-of-concepts and solutions, helping to pilot, test, deliver and scale. The remaining 6+ months will be spent in the home office, delivering other tasks relating to the activation and scale of partner solutions.

This role is ideal for candidates who have the demonstrated ability to create change through their work with private sector partners and government entities. Candidates must have the ability to operate with clients (together with country teams who hold those relationships) which include Ministers and senior government officials, as well as our tech and non-tech partners. Candidates must also be able to work across TBI with professionalism, confidentiality, integrity and diplomacy.

Partnership Proof-of-Concept/Pilot and Partnership Solution Activation (In-Country Deployment)

• Working with our Global Client Services team and Global Partnerships colleagues, support in-country TBI project teams to co-design and deliver partner solutions that leverage TBI's extended capabilities through partnerships, with example tasks below:
• Together with the local country team, engage with senior client counterparts to understand initial requirements and translate these back as needed for partners and internal TBI teams.

• At least 7 years as a Project Manager experience in tendering of new Building Construction Projects in Singapore for Mega Projects.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The role of an Associate Relationship Manager (Associate RM) is linked to the respective internal development programme. It is therefore a transitional role for a limited period of time (generally 3 years), with the overall aim of the Associate RM becoming a Relationship Manager (RM) after the successful completion of the programme. The present role profile describes the key features of the position towards the end of the programme, not at the very beginning.

The Associate RM is part of a front team and serves private clients of the Bank in close collaboration with one or several senior Relationship Managers, other team members, and specialists. This entails the delivery of comprehensive wealth management solutions to meet the clients’ needs as well as dealing with routine enquiries and transactions. Acquisition of new client relationships through his/her network is an additional, integral element of the role.

KEY FEATURES OF THE POSITION

• Attract prospects, proactively build up an own client book, and retain existing clients in close collaboration with other team members.
• Proactively ask for support, feedback, and guidance from other relationship managers in the team in developing and maintaining successful client relationships.
• Respond to all client needs in the highest possible quality and in a timely manner.
• Provide appropriate investment advice in collaboration with specialists (when needed) and in line withinternal policies and guidelines while meeting external rules and regulations.
• Deepen client relationships and continuously optimise client’s potential revenues through the acquisition of additional share of wallet / cross-selling.
• Match the frequency and intensity of contact based on the client’s preference.
• Ensure highest level of data security (CID / data privacy) through access management.
• Provide accurate client relationship documentation formalities at all times including client identification documentation (CDB), account opening forms and other relevant legal forms.
• Take up client feedback regarding products and services with the relevant specialists within the Bank to ensure continuous improvement and adaptation in line with market trends.
• Constantly monitor potential risks to protect the Bank and its clients as part of the first line of defence.
• Create and implement new marketing strategies in conjunction with the Team Head / SCE.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives (e.g. to optimise key processes or support new product initiatives).
• Participate actively in the Associate RM development programme and engage in the Associate RM Community to share experience and best practice.

Education and Experience

• Higher education (e.g. master’s degree of University, MBA, CFA) or other educational background combined with relevant professional experience.
• Proven track record of 3-5 years’ work experience or completion of the Julius Baer front graduate programme.
