Job Summary
The Solutions Manager plays a key role in designing and delivering trade finance solutions, leveraging 5+ years’ experience in banking or financial service industry. This position focuses on understanding client needs, structuring solutions across products like letters of credit, guarantees, and supply chain finance, and collaborating with teams to ensure smooth implementation. This role requires strategic thinking to drive innovative solutions, build strong partnerships, and support revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Trade Finance Solutions Design
- Develop and deliver tailored financing solutions for supplier and anchor-led businesses, including factoring, invoice financing, payable, and receivable financing.
- Manage the end-to-end process from client pitching, credit underwriting, program structure design, client onboarding, and up-selling financing products.
TradeTech Services Leadership
- Drive TradeTech mandates by promoting and selling technology capabilities to international banks, anchor clients, and partners.
- Act as a key contact point to educate clients on technology offerings, foster innovation through partnerships, and expand the company’s digital trade finance ecosystem.
Client-Focused Collaboration
- Represent the company in client engagements, working with internal teams (Sales, Product, Operations, Risk & Compliance, Data & Technology) and external parties (funding partners, third-party platforms) to create comprehensive client solutions.
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships to ensure satisfaction and support business growth.
Product Champion Role
- Develop and execute product growth strategies, optimizing the end-to-end client journey from onboarding to solution delivery.
- Identify opportunities to enhance product offerings, ensuring alignment with market needs and business objectives.
Execution and Delivery
- Oversee the entire execution process, including deal structuring, commercial negotiations, funding arrangements, legal documentation, and operational/technology setup.
- Ensure seamless coordination across teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for existing clients, addressing their needs and ensuring strong, ongoing partnerships.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling to deepen client engagement and drive revenue growth.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in banking or financial services, with proven expertise in trade finance being essential.
- Strong understanding of supply chain finance products, including factoring, invoice financing, and payable/receivable financing. Familiarity with associated risks (credit, fraud, FCC, legal) is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships effectively, with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with proven organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
