Formal Education & Certification

Position Overview: The Bid Manager will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the bid process for both public sector and enterprise clients. This position will require close collaboration with internal stakeholders including sales, pre-sales, project management, delivery, finance, and legal teams to deliver compelling, compliant, and commercially sound bids.

Key Responsibilities:

Stakeholder and Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, project management, finance, legal) to gather inputs and ensure alignment on bid strategy.
• Work closely with Sales Directors to refine win strategies and provide guidance on bid development and risk management.

Strategic Direction and Proposal Contribution:

Experience/ Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in presales/ solutioning/ bid management, preferably in a technology consulting or similar industry.
• Experience in managing bid budgets and tracking performance against KPIs.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex technical, business, and strategic challenges.
• Knowledge of risk management practices throughout the bid lifecycle.
• A strategic thinker with the ability to think creatively and adapt strategies to win bids.
• Experience with governance processes and ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Experience in handling IT project tenders and good understanding of bidding process for public sector tenders will be an added advantage
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in preparing high-quality proposals and presentations.
