To power the business expansion, we have an opportunity for a credible and talented Senior Operations Manager (SOM) to join our Company and become a member of the Management Team in Singapore.

Position Overview: The Senior Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the execution and optimization of multiple renewable energy projects across various regions. This position requires expertise in project planning, operational efficiency, and resource management to deliver projects on time and within budgets. The SOM will harmonize workflows, streamline subcontractor activities, and ensure cost-effective procurement to create economies of scale. As a member of the Management Team, the SOM will provide critical insights on financial performance, risk management, and operational improvements. This role demands a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of renewable energy operations and a proven ability to manage complex, multi-country portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

(i) Master Project Planning and Oversight:

Develop and manage a Master Gantt chart for projects across business verticals. Develop and/or use existing tools and methods to optimize cost, time, and quality while aligning engineering, procurement, and construction phases across countries. Consolidate purchasing needs for economies of scale, resolve scheduling conflicts, and address resource bottlenecks. Track milestones and provide progress updates to the Management Team.

(ii) Workflow & Process Optimization:

Identify and address inefficiencies at project and SPV levels and implement improvements through harmonised procedures. Introduce automation tools to enhance monitoring and performance. Establish KPIs to track efficiency and synergies, and collaborate with department heads to incorporate best practices for productivity and teamwork.

(iii) HR Resource Allocation:

Coordinate with departments to forecast and allocate personnel for project execution and SPV operations, adjusting staffing based on project phases. Monitor performance, address skill gaps, and optimize team assignments by working with and through heads of departments.

(iv) Subcontractor Harmonization:

Establish performance benchmarks and enforce standards across regions and asset types. Monitor regional labour costs and maintain country-specific contractor charges. Standardize construction activities, develop a robust contractor database, and implement a safety program compliant with ISO, OSHA, and other certifications.

(v) Cash Flow & Financial Planning:

Create portfolio-level cash flow forecasts, accounting for schedules, material purchases, and labour costs. Monitor expenditures against budgets, adjust plans as necessary, and provide financial updates to the Management Team, highlighting risks. Develop contingency strategies to manage cost overruns effectively.

(vi) Risk Identification & Mitigation:

Identify and monitor portfolio-level risks, such as resource shortages, supply chain and logistics issues and regulatory challenges, and develop comprehensive mitigation strategies and contingency plans. Ensure compliance with local laws and industry standards to minimize legal and operational risks.

Reporting:

The Senior Operations Manager reports directly to the CEO and attends weekly Group Management Team Meetings.

Competences & Capabilities:

· Master’s degree in engineering, industrial-business administration, or a related field, preferably combining engineering with business.

· Minimum 10 years in the renewable energy sector, with at least 5 years in a senior role, preferably in the Asia-Pacific region.

· Experience in managing construction and/or renewable energy projects in challenging environments.

· Strong in budget management, financial analysis, and strategic operations planning.

· PMP Certification, Six Sigma, and Operations Excellence/Safety Management certifications.

· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• As a Senior Vessel Manager, you will assume full responsibility for the safe operation of a fleet of bulk carrier and Gas vessels assigned to you.
• Besides day-to-day close monitoring of vessels, you will be required to supervise drydockings and repairs, carry out vessel inspections, conduct technical investigations, ensure certification and documentation of vessels under your charge are up to date and meet international safety standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Project Director, you shall manage the entire effort for construction execution of the FPSO from selection of donor vessel to commissioning and acceptance by the Client. Your responsibilities shall include but not limited to the following job scope:

Role Description

The Engineering Delivery Management (EDM) role is focused on technical management of all engineering activities. They provide direction, guidance, expert advice, mentoring, support, audit, and workflow management (tasking prioritisation and resource coordination) in support of achieving project objectives and milestones in accordance with the approved schedule. • Monitor the issue of acceptance or permits by the Regulatory bodies and Classification society.
• Handover Regulatory Permits & Consents Compliance Plan to CLIENT/Operator indicating dates when permits and consents are required to be renewed.
• As necessary, participate with Project Management in negotiation and establishment of contracts for Class review and Regulatory Compliance at bid, FEED, or sanction stages of project.
• Provide Regulatory audit functions for accuracy of PO certification and inspection requirements within Regulatory Compliance scope (Vendor Compliance).
• Collect and promulgate Regulatory lesson learned during project.
• Support project team with respect to availability of appropriate / applicable codes and standards from Company reference library resource.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum educational requirements of a Bachelors’ and/or Masters’ degree in Mechanical / Chemical / petroleum Engineering or equivalent.
• Direct experience working on FPSO projects.
• Experience working with regulatory bodies in West Africa, China, and Europe.
• Minimum 15-18 years’ experience, with Oil & Gas projects (fixed installations and FPSOs), with significant experience working as a Project Manager or Lead Engineer.
• Must have prior work experience with medium/ large sized brownfield and/or greenfield projects in the upstream Oil and Gas sector, in a similar role and possess a good understanding of project phases, milestones, deliverables, internal and external interfaces.
• Good leadership skills to manage and develop a team.
