You will be responsible for overseeing the day to day running and strategic planning of the hotel operations, working closely with our Heads of Departments, HR, Finance and Sales & Marketing teams. You may need to act as the General Manager in his/her absence.

Financial Business

• Support the General Manager in creating, executing, and overseeing financial and operational plans for the hotel to maximize guest satisfaction, sales opportunities, and profitability.
• Make recommendations to enhance the hotel’s assets and strengthen brand loyalty.
• Monitor financial performance, implement cost-saving measures, and drive profitability.
• Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing team to develop and execute strategies to attract and retain guests.

People

• Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professional development, and high performance.
• Direct everyday activities, plan and assign work ensuring you always have the right staffing numbers
• Develop your team and improve their performance through coaching and feedback, and create performance and development goals for colleagues - recognise good performance
• Train colleagues to make sure they deliver with compliance and to the standards we expect and have the tools they need to work efficiently
• Recommend or initiate any HR elated actions where needed
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other shifts and departmental management

Guest Experience

• Interact with guests and outside contacts including, , current and potential clients, government officials, travel industry representatives, suppliers, competitors local community members
• Make sure the hotel delivers the highest level of guest satisfaction through superb guest services and amenities

Responsible Business

• Oversee hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, engineering and guest services.
• Provide guidance and assistance to all departments, helping them to meet their objectives
• Ensure that all departments work closely to deliver a seamless guest and employee experience.
• Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, team members and hotel assets in compliance with the hotel’s or owner’s policies and procedures and regulatory requirements. Maintain relations with outside contacts
• Act as public relations representative to raise awareness of hotel and brand in local community
• Drive team member involvement in community organisations, activities and businesses
• Develop and carry out action plans to be environmentally conscious by taking steps to reduce the hotel’s carbon footprint

What We Need From You

• Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a senior management position in a hotel.
• Working experience in an international lifestyle hotel brand will be an advanrage
• Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven track record of managing a hotel.
• Excellent knowledge of lifestyle hospitality trends, standards and practices.
• Must be able to handle difficult situations with tact and high diplomacy
• Strong proficiency in budgeting and forecasting.

Job Description:

To prepare PQP and EHSQ plan and standard work method for the execution of assigned projects.

Prepare and submit for all the permits and clearance from relevant authorities prior to commence works.

Work closely with client representatives and consultants for effective resolution of project matters and management of Client/Consultants expectation

Evaluation and certification of monthly progress claims.

Assign job responsibilities to the site team.

Proactively manage and take lead in Variation Works identification and management serving Notice of Variation Works on time and follow up with relevant documentation substantiation and liaising with internal Tender and Contract Dept for costing build up and claim submissions.

Resolve all issues relating to technical and construction works.

Deploy the required resources such as manpower, machinery & equipment in accordance to the project requirements.

Ensure sub-contractors performance and quality are in line with companys requirements and standard.

Responsible for any other role as assigned by the Project Director from time to time.

Job Requirements

Degree in Civil Engineering

Minimum 5 years experience in related and project management field

Preferably Manager specialized in Engineering Civil/Construction/Structural

Possess strong project management and planning skills

Computer literacy and knowledge of AutoCAD

Possess driving license with own transport.

• Manage construction projects for clients, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, with high quality.
• Review and approve construction drawings, specifications, and designs to ensure that they meet project requirements and industry standards.
• Prepare and present project progress reports, including project status updates, risks, issues, and recommendations to senior management and project stakeholders.
• Identify issues proactively and work with the team to resolve effectively.
• Ensure that all project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date, including project plans, specifications, drawings, and contracts.
• Ability to maintain a high level of organization by ensuring daily job allocation.
