Responsibilities

• Manage the maintenance and daily operations of the DC facilities with the objective of achieving uninterrupted availability at all times and to ensure the fulfillment of our service commitment to customers.

• Perform routine facilities activities including inventory control. Critical systems checks and functional testing. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Responsibilities

Project Design and Development

o Engineer integrated energy systems combining solar PV, battery storage, generators, IoT platforms, and smart utility solutions.

o Conduct energy audits, feasibility studies, and performance simulations for both energy and smart utility projects.

o Create designs for smart utilities, including energy-efficient lighting, water metering, HVAC systems, and waste management.

Smart Utilities Integration

o Develop and implement smart utility systems to optimize energy, water, and resource usage.

o Integrate IoT-based solutions for real-time monitoring of utilities such as smart meters, leak detection systems, and automated controls.

o Enhance infrastructure efficiency through predictive analytics and data-driven optimization strategies

System Integration

o Oversee hybrid energy system integration, ensuring seamless functionality between solar, battery, generator, and IoT solutions.

o Incorporate smart grid and distributed energy resource (DER) management capabilities.

o Design and integrate communication networks (e.g., Modbus, Zigbee, LoRaWAN) for utility and energy systems.

Project Execution

o Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of energy and smart utility projects, including planning, procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover.

o Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and third-party vendors to meet project goals.

o Ensure all projects comply with local regulations, codes, and safety standards.

IoT and Automation Solutions

o Design IoT-enabled control systems for energy management, utility monitoring, and automation.

o Implement smart dashboards, predictive maintenance systems, and user-friendly interfaces for clients.

o Resolve communication and integration issues between IoT devices and cloud platforms.

Quality Assurance and Maintenance

o Perform inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of energy and utility systems.

o Ensure high system reliability by implementing preventive maintenance schedules.

o Document all processes, configurations, and test results for compliance and auditing purposes.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, IoT Engineering, or a related field.

· Advanced degree or certifications in Smart Utilities, Energy Systems, or IoT Technologies is a plus.

· 3 – 4 years of experience in designing and managing solar, battery, generator, IoT, and/or smart utility projects.

· Proven expertise in hybrid energy system integration and smart infrastructure projects.

· Proficiency in energy modeling and simulation tools (e.g., PVsyst, HOMER, ETAP).

· Familiarity with smart utility systems like smart meters, advanced HVAC controls, and water management solutions.

· Hands-on experience with IoT platforms, protocols (e.g., MQTT, LoRaWAN), and communication technologies.

· Knowledge of renewable energy technologies, power electronics, and utility management systems.

· Proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, or other design and engineering software.

Responsibilities:

· Software Design, Development and Maintenance (Equipment PC-based Programming)

· System Implementation, Testing, Debugging and Documentation

· SECS/GEM Software Implementation and Documentation

· Analyze existing software and identify areas for modification and improvement

· Troubleshooting at customer’s site as and when required

Requirements:

· Degree in relevant discipline with preferably more than 5 years of experience in software development in the automation industry

· Strong in equipment PC-based programming skills

· Experience in motion control and process control

· Experience in Vision System software development is preferred

· Experience in C# WPF is an advantage

· Knowledge in SECS/GEM standards and implementation is required

· Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

· Good command of written and spoken English

Job Description:

1. Architect and develop a robust, scalable, and secure Train borne radio system.

2. Ensure compliance with the 3GPP standards for seamless integration with a variety of 4G and 5G UEs.

3. Implement communication protocols for interfacing with 4G/5G modems using AT commands.

4. Ensure reliable data transmission between the device and other networked systems

5. Design and implement efficient software that can communicate with train’s sub systems.

6. Collaborate with hardware teams to ensure seamless interaction between software and hardware.

7. Create detailed technical documentation and provide support for troubleshooting and system maintenance.

8. Ensure that implementation conforms to the coding standards and engineering processes

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

2. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on radio systems.

3. Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python.

4. In-depth knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, HTTPS, LTE, and 5G.

5. Experience in interfacing with 5G modems.

6. Strong understanding of multi-threading.

7. Expertise in Linux, including kernel configuration, scripting, and system administration.

8. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.

9. Proven ability to lead a project and mentor junior engineers.
