• Lead process safety assessments, including HAZOP and LOPA, and provide technical expertise to the HSE department.
• Prepare detailed reports with findings and recommendations for plant modifications, enhancements, and investment projects such as debottlenecking, environmental improvements, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Perform basic engineering design for proposed investment projects, mark up P&IDs, and compile technical information for cost estimation purposes.

· Arrange & Coordinate Site Testings and Inspections with Vendors and RTO/RE

· Manage and plan site materials and equipment delivery to ensure efficient use of resources

· Co-ordinate site storage space with Main Contractor

· To assist Project Manager in timely submission of materials samples and mock-up for approval

· Checking of RC structures conditions against construction drawings and highlight any discrepancies if found on site

· To perform other duties as assigned by Project Manager.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead and direct projects and ensure they are directed towards a common objective
• Engage and communicate with stakeholders to deliver project milestones and comply with strict deadlines
• Ensure client satisfaction and manage escalations, acting as single point of contact to the client
• Ensure that the project delivers as-sold solution, remains within the baseline budget and is delivered on time whilst maintaining quality criteria and client satisfaction
• Coordinate activities of the project teams through task delegation, resource assignment and programme management
• Ensure proper documentation is in order
• Any other duties as assigned

Job Requirement:

• Minimum Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering or related field
• Preferably with 2 years’ relevant work experience, or entry level candidates in relevant field of study
• Good communicator with excellent coordination skills
• Ultra-sensitive to deadlines and capable of good resource planning
• Basic technical knowledge on ELV, Automation, Networking and Security Systems (CCTV, Card Access, Alarm System) will be an advantage
• Committed individual with great initiative and strong problem-solving skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive range of technical after-sales service support, installation, commissioning and repair plus preventive maintenance plans for laboratory/ hospital infrastructures or research/ analytical equipment in the medical imaging industry;
• Provide technical consultation to customers with a focus on the refrigeration system;
• Respond to customers’ requests by troubleshooting problems and taking corrective actions within targeted timeline;
• Prepare service reports.

REQUIREMENTS

• ITE/Higher NITEC/Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of relevant technical work experience in service/ maintenance;
• Ideally process experience in similar industry (scientific/biopharmaceutical);
• Understanding of refrigeration system as focus;

• Valid Class 3 driving license and personal vehicle will be an added advantage

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.

• Report directly to the Project Director/Manager overseeing the WTW system.
• Project Support: Provide technical expertise for the design, development, and construction oversight of the WTW system.
• Coordinate with WTW system designers, vendors, and fabricators, including reviewing drawings, sourcing equipment, and managing cost and schedule control.
• Project Execution: Lead project implementation to meet specified requirements and objectives. Responsibilities include schedule tracking, vendor sourcing and recommendations, cost assessment, resource allocation, addressing inquiries, clarifying technical aspects, supervising project activities, implementing corrective measures, conducting Factory Acceptance Tests, and finalizing as-built documentation.
• Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and resolve issues in deck machinery using technical manuals, hand tools, and power tools.
• Record Keeping: Accurately document all changes, maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
• Develop operating, maintenance, and safety procedures for the WTW system.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the marine industry or shipyard environment.
• Solid understanding of deck machinery, including winches, cranes, lifting and handling equipment, as well as familiarity with IACS rules and regulations (especially ABS, DNV, BV).
• Specific experience in WTW systems (Offshore Passenger Transfer System) is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, hydraulic and electrical systems, and P&ID, with proven troubleshooting skills.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities, with knowledge of structural design as a plus.
• Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with team members at all organizational levels.
• Communication: Clear and effective communication skills for interacting with team members, vendors, fabricators, and clients.
• Proven ability to write reports and deliver presentations in English, with Mandarin skills being an added advantage.
• Software Proficiency: Skilled in MS Office, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Adobe, and AutoCAD. Familiarity with Primavera scheduling software is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of document control processes, with experience in ISO9001:2015 QAM systems being advantageous.
• Must be willing to travel and work in marine and offshore environments.
