• Conduct frequent sites inspections and meetings to ensure high quality work by sub-contractors and on time delivery of materials in accordance with schedule

• To resolve all technical and non-technical issues
• Assists Site Manager/Project Manager in verifying monthly progress reports, claims
• Oversees the daily construction activities at the work site to meet the project progress and quality goals
• Supervise direct manpower to complete the project within the given budget and time frame
• Monitor the site progress against the approved construction program and highlight to project manager if progress is behind schedule
• Perform quality inspections
• Other duties as assigned

Job description

1. Responsible for planning the server onto racks, arranging the server mounting

2. Install the operating systems for new mounted servers

3. Responsible for reinstalling the server operation systems, solving the abnormalities.

4. Responsible for the daily server maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and follow-up

break-fix of the server and other hardware

5. Maintain data on internal systems including asset management, ticketing, rack related data

6. Work with remote vendors or other teams to solve hardware batch failures and problems

7. Oncall on duty, responsible for dealing with the problems raised by the business owner

side

8. Collect and check online assets status or issues

9. Erase drives or other configurations for retiring or relocating servers.

10. Provide retrofitting or test feedback for tools/systems/platforms.

11. Submit and track the part RMA or media destruction process

12. Server network troubleshooting

13. Server lifecycle management

14. Other server operation related work

15. Tidy and escalate problems to senior SOE

Job requirements

1. Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer science, Electrical engineering or any other

relevant fields

2. Strong ability to work under pressure; Strong learning ability, broad technical interest;

4. Knowledge of the interdependencies of server functions and technologies

5. Can understand and run simple Shell/Bash scripts

7. Basic network knowledge concepts - MAC, Subnet, TCP/IP; Ability to perform general

troubleshooting

8. Knowledge of out-of-band/lights-out server communication methods, such as IPMI
