Job Scope

Job Description

• Maintain Financial Records: Ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records are kept in compliance with regulations.
• Provide Reporting: Generate and deliver financial reports to management, authorities, and headquarters.
• GST Reporting and Reconciliation: Oversee GST reporting and perform reconciliation to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Asset Accounting Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies regarding asset accounting.
• Month-End Closing: Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure smooth and timely completion of month-end closing processes.
• Support AP/AR Processing: Assist in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processing as needed.
• Liaise with Auditors: Work with auditors during quarterly audits to provide the necessary financial documentation and support.
• Cost Control Reports and Analysis: Prepare and analyze cost control reports to assist in financial decision-making.

Additionally, the candidate will have opportunities to gain exposure to other functions like tax preparation, tax compliance, full auditing, budgeting, and manufacturing cost control as required.

Job Requirements

• Educational Qualifications: Degree in Accountancy or an equivalent field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• SAP Experience: Proficiency in using SAP is essential for this role.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to prepare, review, and analyze financial data accurately.

Job Responsibilities

• Promote a strong HSE culture to ensure effective implementation of safety procedures.
• Carry out thorough inspections of safety equipment, including fire extinguishers and lifting devices, as well as emergency response systems.
• Review and assess preventive action reports to enhance safety measures.
• Confirm that Activity Risk Assessments (ART) are conducted correctly for all work activities.
• Advise management on compliance with HSE policies and legal requirements for all facilities.
• Provide HSE guidance to line managers and supervisors regarding safety issues.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies on matters related to health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Investigate workplace incidents and analyze patterns to recommend corrective actions.
• Work with management and external organizations to develop and deliver effective health and safety training programs.
• Evaluate the success of internal training initiatives related to health, safety, and environmental practices.
• Perform internal audits and site assessments to ensure compliance with health and safety policies, and participate in client and external audits as required.

Requirements
