RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing in-depth understanding of project scope and particulars i.e. timeframes, financials, outcomes, plan and manage team goals, project schedules and new information.
• Communicate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives, regularly schedule and attend meetings between stakeholders, clients, employees and the Project Manager.

• Coordinating with LTA and NPark officers regarding the ROA queries raised by authorities, and get approval on time.
• Providing support to project managers and operation team when requested.
• Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements if necessary, and sharing relevant documentation and reports with project teams.

To develop conceptual routing, piping layout and piping information of major critical equipment of the project such as tower/column, airfin coolers, heaters, compressors, reactors and boiler, preferably in 3D CAD format.

• R&D of new processes on a lab-scale
• Maintain and control of laboratory analytical and testing records

Process:

• Perform First-Article testing for new customers or parts, prior to mass production
• Perform review/gap analysis on customer’s specifications for chemical processes, with adequate process control measures
• Involve in quality issues investigations, troubleshooting, root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
• Lead investigations for recovery action on any non-conformity
• Control of chemical logistics for entirety of production

Waste-water treatment plant (WTP):

• Manage and maintain WTP at optimum system performance for treatment of chemical waste
• Troubleshoot WTP system issues when waste discharge is non-compliant to Trade Effluent standards
• All other tasks that might be assigned from time to time

• Reports to the Design Manager
• Review/Develop design drawings and documents in accordance with project requirements
• Coordinate all design related matters and participate in regular/ad-hoc meetings with Clients / Design consultants / Viaduct specialists / Subcontractor
• Monitor and update design schedule regularly
• Prepare & review shop/fabrication drawings for temporary/viaduct structure
• Support Design manager & lead in-house design engineer/drafter

Job Requirements

• Minimum Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience of design & construction of bridge/ viaducts/ roads/ highways
• Candidate with experience in LTA (Road/MRT/Viaduct) is preferred
• Technical expertise and knowledge of concrete material & structure design
• Proficient in proposal for structural systems
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Proficient in Structural Analysis Software (MIDAS, SAP, STAAD etc.)
• Good attitude towards work and timeline
• Independent, analytical and good interpersonal skills

The is an individual contributor role, reports to the Manager, based in Singapore.

About the role - you will:

• Bring up newer generation and maintain existing preamp related driver code.
• To Involve in development of next generation servo demodulation channel and SOC.
• Failure analysis on servo demodulation related drive failures.
• Develop new algorithms to enhance the robustness of servo system, especially servo channel, Preamp and power management.
• Be part of the team responsible for improving servo code process.
• Be part of the global servo team to deliver best in class servo design.

Your experience includes:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and/or equivalent experience
• Experience in programming languages, such as C, Python and MATLAB.
• Familiar with real time embedded systems and digital signal processing.
• Familiar with Perforce, Jira systems will be an added advantage.
• At least five years’ experience of HDD servo systems, HDD manufacturing process, servo related failure analysis, servo test, data crunching and analysis.
