You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all systems are fully operational, facilitating smooth broadcasting and minimal downtime. You will be the backbone of our broadcast operations, ensuring everything runs efficiently across CNBC Asia Pacific’s platforms. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation of broadcast equipment and contribute to new installation projects. 

• Lead assigned engineering projects, managing the planning, design, and implementation phases. 

• Maintain and update system and infrastructure diagrams to ensure they reflect any changes to the facility or infrastructure. 

• Ensure continuous, uninterrupted operation of CNBC Asia Pacific’s originated channels. 

• Maintain and ensure the full operational functionality of production systems to support scheduled production activities. 

• Ensure post-production systems remain fully operational to meet post-production schedule. 

• Address and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize disruption to broadcast operations. 

• Perform routine and critical maintenance on on-air transmission equipment, studio equipment, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), air conditioning and computers, ensuring timely and efficient service. 

• Perform front line maintenance for Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems, including air conditioning and UPS systems. 

• Liaise with external suppliers, manufacturers and third-party service providers as required to source fixes for any identified gaps. 

• Provide proactive, engaged technical support to the Engineering team and ensure all systems remain up-to-date and functional.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain applications that meet business requirements and delight users.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING 

• Front-End Development:
• Develop responsive web interfaces using modern frameworks such as React and  Angular.
• Ensure seamless user experiences by integrating front-end designs with back-end systems.
• Back-End Development:
• Build and maintain APIs, micro services, and integrations
• Design and manage databases, such as DynamoDB and PostgreSQL, to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Collaboration & Problem Solving:
• Work closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers to implement new features.
• Debug and optimise code for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Testing & Deployment:
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Assist with deployment and maintenance of applications in cloud environments such as AWS

WHAT YOU NEED TO  HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with 3 to 5 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms, such as AWS and GoogleCloud, and serverless architecture
• Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, SASS and one modern framework (e.g., React, Angular).
• Proficiency in back-end development using languages like NodeJS, .Net, Python
• Familiarity with database management systems such as DynamoDB, MySQL and PostgreSQL
• Good understanding of Design Patterns and Data Integration Patterns
• Good understanding of application performance, scalability, security engineering
• Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with providing third level support of production environments
• Strong sense of ownership
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Utilize and integrate with tools like Jira & Confluence, Bitbucket and any kinds of code analysis tools like Codacy.

1. Manage the team of RTOs, supervision of site set up, earth works, drainage works and reinstatement works

2. Report to Qualified Person

3. Prepare weekly reports and monthly reports.

4. Attend the meeting with client and consultants

5. Report any non-compliances to Qualified Person

6. Ensure the site Safety

1. Undertake project management and product design works.

2. Provides customer support from product development to realisation.

3. Support cost study on machining and project works.

4. Handle all jigs and fixtures development works on machining jobs.

5. Represent company when dealing with subcontractors relating to hardware support.

6. Ensure safe operations and handling at all times

• Prepare quality reports, perform process audit, develop & implements quality assurance standards, policies, processess & controls.
• Able to liaise & resolve with customers on quality related issues.
• Data compliation, co-ordination and facilitation of all internal and external audits, re-certification of ISO 9001.
