As a Shipping Executive, you will be responsible:

• Prepare all shipping documents for import shipments and process bank documents such as Letter of Credit, etc.
• Ensure all documents comply with Singapore’s import regulations and the correctness of documents from suppliers.
• Ensure all documents received on time for clearance to avoid incurring charges due to late clearance of documents.
• Update and communicate with Procurement team on any changes to vessel’s arrival schedule.
• Ensure all documents comply with international trade regulations and the specific requirements of shipping carriers and customs authorities.
• Ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining cost-effective shipping solutions.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure they reach their destination on time.
• Coordinate with shipping carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics providers to ensure timely and accurate documentation and shipping schedule.
• Resolve any shipping-related issues or delays in a timely manner.
• Continuous process improvement for documentation and shipping processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Stay current on industry trends and regulations related to shipping and logistics.
• Carry out administrative tasks such as data input, processing of information, completing paperwork and filling of documents.
• Reviewing freight cost, negotiating rates with freight forwarder companies and propose to HOD for review and approval.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in supply chain management and logistics.
• Min 3 years of relevant experience in food service or supply chain management within the manufacturing industry.
• Possess Tradenet Certification.
• Proficiency in using shipping software and tools.
• Knowledge and familiar with shipping term, shipping documentation and L/C preparation and negotiation.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft office applications and in ERP system.

Additional Information

• $3,000 to $3,800 per month (depending on experience & appointed designation)

• Lead and manage a team of warehouse assistants and administrators to ensure the efficient operation of the warehouse.
• Supervise receiving, kitting, and shipment activities in alignment with the production plan set by the planning department.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of both system and physical stock levels.

Strengthen the tax practice within companies in Singapore and the APAC region:

Singapore Tax Matters

• Ensure timely and accurate filing of all direct and indirect tax returns for SG Group of companies to the IRAS
• Manage all tax queries raised by IRAS as well as queries raise by SG Group of companies during day-to-day operations
• Initiate, manage and complete transfer pricing (TP) documentation preparation for SG Group of companies and act as the main contact point between TP consultant and SG Group companies
• Ensure timely and accurate tax provisioning and deferred tax computation within tight deadline for Panasonic group reporting
• Initiate Major Exporter Scheme (MES) license renewal before the expiry date
• Provide leadership to SG Group of companies and ensure tax governance compliance
• Highlight any potential tax risk and make suggestion for improvement
• Standardisation of tax practice and treatments within the SG Group companies

Regional Tax Matters

• Visualization of tax issues of the regional Group companies and make proposal of counter-measures
• Collecting information on tax changes in the APAC region and grasp the impact to the Group companies
• Support to tax risks associated with reorganization of group company, guidance on risk mitigation, and support for M&A activities
• Support regional Group companies in any tax audit case, liaise with local tax consultant as well as local tax authorities in each country, where required
• Support and monitor Group companies in respect of transfer pricing risk and suggest counter-measures
• Provide sound advise and guidance to the regional companies as and when required
• Monitor effective tax rate in the region and make suggestion for improvement
• Improve tax awareness in the region
• Reduce unnecessary withholding tax expense for the Group and make suggestion for improvement
• Enhance Tax network in APAC Region by working closely with Japan HQ and each regional companies / Country Tax managers
• Functions as a point of contact for group company tax-related measures
• Initiate GST ASK assessment for the renewal of Major Exporter Scheme (MES) license before the expiry date
• Support Japan HQ for Master File preparation, Country by Country Report (CbCR), Pillar 2 project, and any other tax project or queries as required
• Support Australia and New Zealand entities for Hybrid Mismatch compliance matters
• Support Japan HQ for tax matters in relation to Japanese Controlled Foreign Corporation (JCFC) rules
• Ensure timely and accurate tax filing in India

Qualification

• Approximately 10 years of tax experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Proven experience in tax compliance and planning
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational management skills

Our client aims at creating a new manufacturing concept consisting of a new generation of evolutive multi-product facilities, modular, adaptable, and agile, leveraging new disruptive technologies, to better address vaccine business challenges.

Job Summary:

• Responsible for designing, implementing, and reviewing the procedures involved in manufacturing processes.
• Establishes procedures and proper documentation control as well as performs risk analysis and HAZOPs to ensure that safety, quality, delivery and productivity goals are fulfilled.
• Conducts or participates in productivity improvement activities including equipment/fixture selection, design and commissioning.
• This role is integral in driving continuous improvement processes, utilizing problem-solving techniques, and ensuring that operations align with company goals and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Support all API manufacturing activities to deliver to the business production plan, while ensuring compliance with QHSE standards.
• Liaise with Process & Technology department and Engineering Maintenance department to ensure the design of appropriate process/ engineering modifications for the continuous improvement activities/ operational yield improvement initiative for the manufacturing department/ facilitate the introduction of new products.
• Lead the change management process for continuous improvement; plant modification and improvement projects, validation planning and cost-saving projects and equipment qualifications including generating the appropriate documentations (IQ, OQ and PQ).

Other Activities:

• Work with all the support function to lead/ facilitate any trouble shooting activities resulting in timely closure of investigation and CAPA using problem solving tools such as Ishikawa, FMEA, 5 Whys
• Ensure accountability and commitment in achieving the goals of continuous improvement of Safety performance through participation/ leading in HAZOPs.
• Create, review and revise manufacturing documents such as batch records, SOPs, etc. to meet cGMP and safety compliance.
• Perform gap and technical assessments for global standards and procedures (GSPs and SOPs).
• Serve as risk lead or subject matter expert in support of risk assessments and hazards analysis e.g. microbial control risk assessments
• Develop technical training material and conduct technical training for production staff. To train and coach production team on the equipment and process. As a Key point of contact for any equipment or production issues.
• Develop technical reports and engineering documents such as URS, FS, P&IDs, etc. Support performance of reliability study of equipment.
• Ensure company life savings rules are understood and applied and being proactive in identifying, addressing and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• To support/lead internal and external quality and HSE compliance audits.
• Develop cleaning validation strategy.
• Perform simple use test in laboratory to assist in deviation investigation.
• Contribution to continuous improvement loops:
• Power continuous improvement loops with problems encountered and use problem-solving techniques to identify root causes
• Have the appropriate level in problem solving, e.g. GPS3, to be able to effectively coordinate problem solving groups and ensure the use of appropriate tools.
