Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the production and planning teams to prioritize tooling schedules based on the current tool status and production demands.
• Provide technical support to the tool designing and sales teams, ensuring that customer requirements are met through effective tooling solutions.
• Take a leadership role in problem-solving and troubleshooting within the tooling team, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Support continuous process improvements for tooling and work processes to enhance productivity and efficiency across the department.
• Work closely with the toolroom to identify machining needs for tooling modifications and improvements, ensuring tool readiness for production requirements.
• Oversee and guide the toolmakers, training them to enhance their skills and ensuring high-quality standards are maintained in all tooling activities.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Precision Engineering or equivalent.
• Technical qualification in Tool & Die Making or a related field.
• Ability to lead and manage a team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Strong problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
