The Test Engineer will be based in Kallang, Singapore.

Job Responsibilities

• Direct and/or coordinate electronic engineering and/or technical personnel in fabrication and design of testing and test control apparatus and equipment, or software and systems testing.
• Direct and coordinate electronic engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation, calibration and maintenance of instruments, equipment and control devices required to test, telemeter and record test data.
• Determine conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations.
• Conduct and support Validation activities on Test System/Equipment and/or process setup.
• Resolve test yield problems by performing analysis of root causes, developing and coordinating corrective action measures and monitoring improvements.

Job Functions & Principal Duties

• Facilitates communication between Production, Operations and Creative during the development and implementation of all assigned projects
• Responsible for installation and maintenance of Show Control systems.
• Maintains project liaison status to communicate scheduling of timelines, guest impact, site visits, and additional department project involvement
• Manages the Production teams and vendors in the upgrade of existing shows and attractions
• Manages new installations and renovations of entertainment related scenic or technological elements in exhibitions, shows and attractions
• Develops install, implementation, and strike schedules for combined in-house and contracted services with deadline accountability
• Maintains a flow of purchasing by monitoring issuances of purchase orders, collection of vendor clearance paperwork and proper invoicing
• Provides a high level of professional expertise in the areas of technical stagecraft, theatrical rigging, special effects, lighting, scenery, props, and technical design
• Collaborates with the Creative Department during the creation, design and installation of shows and events
• Ensures that our operation is compliant with corporate safety industry standards as well as federal, state and or local statutes related to safety and the environment
• Assists with scope development, budget creation, bid process, vendor selection, equipment purchase, and installation supervision
• Designs review of lighting, audio, video, special effects, safety rigging and show control systems
• Supervises labor hours for specific work units from 20 to 80 hours per week based on project needs
• Supervises and maintains cleanliness and safety standards of all equipment and infrastructure as it relates to the project install
• Occasionally assists other locations / areas throughout the world as needed and performs other duties as assigned
• Enthusiastically represents VHE by displaying a positive attitude, high level of energy and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the job

Required Skills. Knowledge, Education and Training:

• Must have a minimum of two years experience supervising the following live event productions: technical theater operations, concert, and festival and/or event production
• Must have a minimum of two years experience supervising live, technical theater operations
• Show Control Operations and Maintenance
• Must have thorough knowledge of technical theater including rigging, theater safety, audio, lighting, video and digital media, special effects, theatrical scenery and all other elements of stagecraft.
• Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills
• Must have computer skills including MS Word, Excel
• Must be able to occasionally lift/move greater than 25 pounds (but less than 50) unassisted
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks and work on several projects simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment
• Must have strong leadership abilities and skills in planning, organization, implementation and follow through
• Four year college degree in Theater or related discipline preferred
• AutoCAD drafting experience preferred

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·Work with the cross functional team to improve the process / product quality and achieve the company / departmental KPIs.

· Attend to customer on con all, factory audit, quality issues and returns.

· Responsible for resolving quality issues related to incoming, in-process, outgoing and customer complaints

·Support for New Product launch and raw material First Article approval, oversee the quality of new products from sample build to mass production by building a robust process.

· Monitor Supplier performance and liaise with supplier to resolve quality issues and handing of NCMR

· Conduct the internal and external audits.

· Responsible for environmental compliance conformity of raw material (Eg.RoHS, Reach, Conflict of Mineral, Pro65, etc)

· Candidates with more experience will be considering for senior role.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

· Diploma with at least 3 years of experience in quality management / manufacturing environment/ Degree in the field of Mechanical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Quality Certification or equivalent.

· Possess good knowledge of IATF16949, ISO9001, ISO13485 QMS, with auditing experience preferred.

· Experience in contract manufacturing of wire harness assembly, PCBA and Electro-mechanical assembly, handling of new products from new launch to mass production, on the Quality control & handing of customer complaint & returns.

· Experience on raw material compliance conformity (Eg.RoHS, Reach, Conflict of Mineral, Pro65) is preferred

· Good problem- solving & communication skills, resourceful and independent.

· Experienced in generating Quality procedures & knowledge of ESG Sustainability is an advantage.
