The Production Manager oversees all operations of the food production plant, ensuring work processes are simplified, costs are reduced, and production processes run efficiently. He/She sets key performance indicators (KPI), and develops new food production standards and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

He/She monitors quality assurance, investigates production or quality issues and recommends solutions. He/She must undergo training in internal food safety audits and serves on the organisation's food safety internal audit committee.

He/She works in a food production environment and may be required to work in shifts. He/She is exposed to physically demanding work conditions such as long standing hours and hot or cold temperatures.

• Arrange plant visits and physical inspections by external auditors.
• Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and prepare reports and work instructions.
• Draft capacity plans to evaluate sustainability of new or modified manufacturing processes.
• Establish food production strategies for sustainability.
• Establish production documentations and maintenance.
• Identify and implement yield opportunities and forecast yield targets.
• Implement new or modified production processes for regulatory approval, commissioning and operation.
• Implement test programmes to resolve hardware and major set-up issues in mass production.
• Improve operation planning through the use of big data and advanced analytics modelling.
• Investigate low yield and quality assurance.
• Investigate production or quality issues and recommend solutions.
• Lead key production processes in compliance with budget, schedules, quality control, and cross-departmental coordination.
• Lead working level communities to explore opportunities for improvement projects.
• Manage manpower, equipment, raw materials and ingredient resources to meet production objectives.
• Review regular production performance reports.
• Set food production key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Support product quality and food safety processes to ensure that finished products meet specifications and regulatory standards.

Major Accountabilities

• Ensure GMP/ GDP compliance, HSE, Quality and Alcon Corporate policy compliance maintained.
• Support, initiate and execute improvement project in HSE, 5S and MTSU operation processes.
• Resolve low yield, defect issues related to PP molds, inserts and tool plates.
• Execution of MTSU tasks. Example;- PP molds and inserts inspection/ measurement, Inserts and Tool plates set up/ cleaning, Data collection/ monitoring/ reporting & documentation, Equipment operation/ maintenance/ calibration.
• Support molding machine vendor during PM, calibration and troubleshooting.

REQUIREMENT

• Nitec in any field or Diploma in Engineering
• Preferably 4-5 years of manufacturing experience
• Comfortable to be based in Tuas (Transport provided from Kranji and Boon Lay MRT)

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee credit reviews for the manufacturing sector and large conglomerates, including both local and China-based businesses.

• Conduct independent credit analysis and evaluation, including financial analysis and projections for new and existing banking facilities/loans, and provide recommendations for approval.

• Identify key risks and mitigating factors in credit assessments and present cases to the Credit Committee.

• Conduct customer visits alongside the Front Office to gain insight into their business operations.

• Ensure timely completion of credit reviews through effective planning and organization.

• Evaluate and recommend ad-hoc trade requests within delegated approval authority.

• Review credit documentation to ensure compliance with approved terms and conditions.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Business, Accounting, Banking, Finance, Economics, or related fields.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar role, with prior experience in the banking sector being highly advantageous.

• Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English and Mandarin to liaise effectively with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.

• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills to work across multiple departments.

• Proactive, energetic, results-oriented, with strong business acumen.

Responsibilities:

• Process monthly payroll and overtime payments.
• Handle employee work pass applications and cancellations
• Manage the onboarding and offboarding process
• Assist with recruitment activities such as posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
• Ensure timely tax clearance for employees.
• Manage insurance claims for employees, including medical and accident claims.
• Perform other HR-related tasks or projects as required.
• Issue uniforms to new employees during onboarding and manage uniform inventory.
• Perform general office administrative duties such as filing, organizing, and managing office supplies and stock.

Requirement:

• Minimum Diploma in Human Resource or a related field
• At least 1 year of relevant experience
