Responsibilities:
NPD Print Packaging Management For All assigned Projects:
- Drawing on years of print experience, you will assess new packaging designs for print feasibility.
- Lead the validation of the design intent files through proofing or print trials, managing vendor conversations and stakeholder expectations; guiding technical choices to feasible outcomes.
- Partner and collaborate with key project stakeholders to be fully versed and fluent in structures and die lines and requirements.
- It is essential that you are adept at managing myriad projects with shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bridge design and production disciplines, evaluating and gauging appropriate risks and future opportunities
- Drive and execute environmentally sustainable design solutions
Color Standards/ Targets
- Attending print trials, approving draw-downs, production proofs and color standards
- Travel – Domestic and International may be required
- Set color targets/specs and communicate them to appropriate suppliers/partners.
- You will develop and maintain a library of all production elements for each brand under your supervision.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred, or relevant with minimum 5 years of experience in printing, production management and project management is required
- Preferably in a FMCG environment experience
- Deep subject matter expertise and proven experience on all printing and prepress processes, preference for packaging experience beyond cartons– Tubes, Jars, Labels Cans etc.
- Subject matter expert in Color Management across multiple print processes
- Documented leadership in print, prepress and project management.
- Proven experience in managing multiple projects or programs; achieves team targets and individual goals through successful executions of defined objectives
- Fundamental Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) expert not required, PowerPoint, Word and Excel on a MAC platform is required
- Cross platform experience in Microsoft and document management application is required Financial budgeting skills and competency is required
