Key Task or Responsibilities:
The Production Engineer (HSE) is responsible for Daily Operations and Projects Safety, the Lead to
reviewed, improvement and compliance to all Safety regulations and requirement. Manage the
Operations Risk Assessment and ensure occupational Safety.
β’ Lead daily operation as an HSE Production Engineer to ensure Safety in both daily operation and
construction projects at site.
β’ Lead HSE aspect of operation in risk assessment, Hazop study for new modification projects,
changes to operating procedures, site construction activities.
β’ Review and make list of high-risk activities in the process operation based on Hazop study, have
regular meeting with production manager and make plan to improve safety level in such areas
of operation.
β’ Coordinate closely with day production & logistics members for HSE aspect of process operation
and ensure safe work procedures are followed.
β’ Study and review all the safety observation feedback and prioritize based on level of risk to
follow up through MOC process. Ensure improvement items are followed by keeping records
and timeline.
β’ Work together with project engineers, production members and maintenance coordinator to
ensure safety related projects are followed and implemented in a timely manner.
β’ Review the emergency and disaster prevention procedures to ensure procedures stay relevant
to current operation and up to date.
β’ Lead and enhance any other HSE related improvement projects/activities.
β’ To perform any other duties or assignments as assigned by superiors.
Our Requirements:
β’ Working experience in the chemical industry
β’ Deep knowledge of Safety legislation and regulations in the chemical industry
β’ Diploma / Degree in Engineering, health, safety, or environmental field of study
β’ Proficient in all Microsoft Applications.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
β’ Good organization skills
β’ Good analytical skills and the ability to think critically
