A Food Production technician is responsible for preparing and processing foods, ensuring that production meets quality standards and is delivered in a timely manner. Duties include operating small kitchen equitments like Mixer Grinder, Deep Frier, Buy Electric Cookers, packing and monitoring product quality.

A food production technician is need to prepare and package foods according to the company's standards. Food production workers may also be responsible for maintaining a safe and hygienic working environment, following food safety regulations and ensuring products meet food safety requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of food items

• Ensure the kitchen and production area are kept clean and tidy

• Check ingredients and food products for quality

• Package food items ready for sale

• Follow food safety regulations and health codes

• Preparing ingredients for the shift; washing vegetables, chopping, seasoning meat, etc.

• Preparing deep fryer, utensils, and grill for shift

• Cooking order according to food health and safety standards

• Delivering food order to wait staff in a timely manner

FOOD PRODUCTION MANAGER Job description

Our company is seeking an experienced food production manager to oversee our food production operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing staff, overseeing production processes, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Be sure to list the daily tasks, such as supervising production, managing inventory, and overseeing quality control, and other key duties. You will oversee delivery and development of the food offer and services, both in the restaurants and hospitality services supporting commercial initiatives, innovation, and team development.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain production schedules and processes to ensure optimum productivity and efficiency

• Hire, train, and manage production staff, including setting and monitoring performance goals

• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and implement product launches

• Create and maintain inventory records and manage raw material inventory levels

• Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and industry standards, including HACCP

• Identify and address production issues and area(s) for improvement

• Monitor and maintain equipment and machinery in production facilities

• Prepare production reports and communicate with upper management regarding production goals and results

• To ensure the prompt and efficient preparation and service in all food areas to the company’s standard and to the customers’s satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

General Administrative

• Prepare all agreements/contracts for engaging external vendors/individuals
• Source and manage bookings of suitable rehearsal and performance venues
• Apply for appropriate licences whenever necessary (e.g., Compass, Archival form)
• Ensure completion, updating, and filing of all paperwork and documents
• Regularly update the database for Artists, Conductor, Director, Production Team & Choruses
• Arrange and coordinate meetings as required.
• Organise vocal classes, workshops, and masterclasses as needed.
• Manage and maintain Production Inventory in SLO Storage.
• Source and coordinate flight and accommodation for international talents
• Act as a liaison between SLO and external parties/individuals
• Arrange auditions when necessary
• Perform any other duties as assigned

Production Matters

• Assist the Artistic Director/ Manager in engaging Directors, Conductors, Artists, and Production Team for productions
• Prepare the production budget and scheduling
• Be the main backstage contact during rehearsals and performances
• Facilitate communication between SLO and individuals involved in productions

Outreach & Engagements

• Communicate with the marketing department
• Provide production support during rehearsals and performances.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Training Programmes - Choruses

• Oversee and attend the training sessions of SLO Choruses (Adult, Youth & Children).
• Oversee and attend all choruses’ rehearsals and performances (internal & external).
• Prepare and manage the administrative requirements of the SLO Choruses.
• Serve as the main contact person between SLO and Choruses (including parents of Youth & Children Choruses)
• Arrange for pianists when required
• Collaborate with SLO Chorus Masters to develop schedules
• Prepare music scores for Chorus Masters & Members for rehearsals
• Organise auditions for new members as needed
• Ensure the SLO Chorus Library is updated and catalogued
• Fulfil any other chorus-related duties as assigned

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Arts Management, or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years related and current working experience in Singapore

Working hours

• Monday (half day: 9.00am - 1.00pm or 2.00pm - 6.00pm)*
• Tuesday to Friday, 9am - 6pm
• Saturday, 8.30am - 12.30pm*

Should you be expected to work outside the prescribed hours and days, off in lieu will be granted at the discretion of the Management.
