What you will do

The successful candidate will apply subject matter expertise to support technology transfer and ongoing cGMP production of commercial protein biologics processes. Scope of work could include:

• Lead site PD activities for continuous improvement, productivity improvement, and product life cycle management.

• Lead and manage PD safety and compliance initiatives including inspection readiness.

• Manage and oversee PD related projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget. Analyze project outcomes to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous optimization.

• Represent PD on key projects or business processes.Stay abreast of industry trends and leverage expertise to ensure the success of the Amgen Singapore Site, focusing on reliability, efficiency, agility, and differentiation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and network drug substance teams for process alignment by applying advanced technical principles and concepts.

• Site PD champion for digital literacy and new digital tools deployment for process monitoring, tech transfer, and facility modeling. Apply best practices to leverage data for more proactive and predictive approaches.

• Support regulatory filings, audits and inspections, and other CMC activities.

Basic Qualifications

· Doctorate Degree and 2 years of biologics process development or commercial-scale technical support experience Or

• Supervise Production Operators and manufacturing activities in Battery Recycling Plant pertaining to the production of products and/or manufacturing processes across production area such as Battery Feeding Area, Mechanical Plant Area, Chemical Plant Area and Mechanical Vapor Recompression Area.

We are seeking an individual to support our business in printing and canvas stretching/framing. This job would be based at our factory space at 48 Toh Guan Road.

Whilst some experience would be preferable we are more than willing to onboard someone with no experience providing you have the right attitude and drive to learn.

The job loosely involves:

• Handling print jobs on a range of media - typically paper and canvas based prints on large format printers such as the Canon Pro-566.

Summary of Job Scope:

Assist production HOD to ensure that BMR and NAV closure and updating is online and real time.

• Ensure on time closure of BMR

• Ensure that all NAV entry at each stages is on time

• Preparation and submission of daily production reports

Assist production HOD to control processes and manpower

• Ensure GMP is adhere in production

• Ensure all processes are in order and following BMR

• Ensure on- time filling and closure of any deviation or IPIR; and issue investigation

• Ensure all manpower are trained properly

1. Membrane Production Intern

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Intern to join our team for a 6-month internship. This position is designed for a diploma student looking to gain practical experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment. As an intern, you will work closely with our production team, contributing to various stages of the membrane manufacturing process while learning industry best practices.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist in day-to-day production operations of polymeric membranes.
• Support the setup and calibration of production equipment.
• Monitor production processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Collect and analyze production data, reporting any deviations or issues.
• Assist in quality control checks and testing of finished products.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and manufacturing standards.
• Collaborate with the production team on troubleshooting and resolving operational challenges.
• Draft standard operating procedures, including risk assessments of tasks, and safe work flows.

Requirements:

Overall supervision of production personnel & production procedures

Job Objective

• To ensure that each department operates smoothly during office hours / OT.
• To ensure that better quality of products are produced.
• To ensure that all production personnel operates according to current Good Manufacturing
• Practice (cGMP) standards.

Responsibility

• Responsible for checking the quality of all the products manufactured.
• Recognize the importance of production process control.
• Report immediately to HOD and relevant personnel of any technical and disciplinary problems encountered during production.
• Seek approval from HOD before troubleshooting.
• In-charge of safekeeping of keys to main gate and ensuring that the gate is always locked after office hours.
• In-charge of the keys to the raw materials room and intermediate room when the Controller is absent.
• To check that the production procedure is followed and report any deviation from standard practice stated in the BMR.
• Report any non-compliant behavior according to GMP standards.
• Be well-trained in GMP standards.
• Provide suggestions for improvement of production work flow and its control.
• Willingness to learn all the production processes and operation and control of each piece of equipment.
• Perform the required administrative duties such as submitting the daily report, monitor the flow of BMR.
• Train new or existing production personnel according to training schedules from HOD.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Establish R&D procedures and work processes.
• Development of new and/or improved product formulation to meet pharmacopeia requirements.
• Development of suitable manufacturing process for the product formulation.
• Produces sample batch in lab scale and pilot scale.
• Responsible for effective technology transfer and upscaling to commercial scale batches.
• Participates in process validation for the R&D batches.
• Provides training to production personnel on improved formulation and manufacturing processes.
• Ensures suitable test method is developed and validated for the new/improved products.
• Trouble-shooting in the areas of formulation and process for routine production.
• Participation in the investigation of product complaints (if applicable).
• Monitors the progress of stability study for R&D samples.
• Establishment of technical information e.g. specifications of raw material, packaging materials, finished products.
• Provides documentation to support registration of products with regulatory authority.
• To ensure the quality of product is in accordance with the specification.
• To review and feedback if there is any improvement needed for the process of manufacturing.
• To ensure that products are produced, stored according to the appropriate documentation and monitor storage conditions for materials and product in order to obtain or maintain the required quality.
• To inspect, investigate and take samples in order to monitor factors which may affect product quality.
• To ensure all products, in process materials, production facilities and process are in accordance to codes of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirement through proper monitoring procedures, effective training program and up to date documentations.
• To monitor drugs manufacturing activities and ensure company is always in compliance with the latest PICS & GMP guideline.
• To ensure that company is always updated with the latest guideline required.
• Review and make recommendation for improvement in area of manufacturing processes, safety, environment, sanitation and hygiene.
• To approve the instruction relating to production operations and to ensure their strict implementation.
• To ensure the qualification and maintenance of his department, premises and equipment.
• To ensure that the appropriate validations are conducted timely and accordingly.
• To ensure all GMP quality related record are kept properly

Requirement

• Bachelor Degree/Master in Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Sciences
• Minimum 2 - 5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in drug development and formulation as well as manufacturing process/technologies

Responsibilities:

• Oversee inventory to meet production demands and avoid shortages.
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure timely material delivery.
• Adjust production schedules as necessary to meet deadlines.
• Ensure product quality by working closely with the testing team.
• Schedule production staff according to workload requirements.
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems for streamlined planning and scheduling.
• Supervise production staff for effective task completion as required.

Requirements :

• Diploma in Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of working experience in electronics manufacturing.
• Experienced in material planning, inventory management, and proficient in ERP and MRP systems.
• Possess leadership and supervisory skills.

Our Production Technicians operate our chemical processes and perform production related activities, utilizing their chemical manufacturing knowledge and experience to operate and troubleshoot the plant in a safe and efficient manner. The Production Technician works in a team environment where collaboration and teamwork are critical to meeting the goals of the business.

Production Technicians are required to work shift work including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Safely and efficiently operates their assigned processes to meet the day-to-day quality, production and productivity goals of ALAM.
- Effectively prioritizes their daily tasks working with the Production Leads and Production Supervisors.
- Participate in monthly safety meetings and promote a safe work environment
- Actively participate on ALAM’s emergency response (ER) team and ER entry team
- Reviews and updates the Standard Operating Procedures
- Reviews and updates the Learning Resources for the processes
- Completes annual personal goals to achieve the plant goals and their own personal development goals
