Role Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated Production Assistant to join our team, supporting the daily manufacturing processes and ensuring high standards of quality, efficiency, and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate production machinery and equipment for tasks such as filling, printing, labeling, and packaging products, contributing to smooth daily operations.
• Perform quality checks on raw materials and finished products according to the company’s quality standards, ensuring all items meet required specifications.
• Accurately document all production activities and tasks, maintaining comprehensive and organized records.
• Consistently adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to maintain high product quality, aiming for zero non-conformance issues.
• Support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize equipment efficiency and production processes.
• Suggest improvements for production processes and take proactive measures to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace by performing regular housekeeping and adhering to 5S principles.
• Follow all company policies and standards, including those related to safety, GMP, quality, and workplace procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company guidelines on uniform, grooming, communication, and operational standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum secondary school education.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks in a production environment.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Strong teamwork skills and collaborative spirit.
• Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment (On-the-job training available for those without experience).

Our Production Technicians operate our chemical processes and perform production related activities, utilizing their chemical manufacturing knowledge and experience to operate and troubleshoot the plant in a safe and efficient manner. The Production Technician works in a team environment where collaboration and teamwork are critical to meeting the goals of the business.

Production Technicians are required to work shift work including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Safely and efficiently operates their assigned processes to meet the day-to-day quality, production and productivity goals of ALAM.
- Effectively prioritizes their daily tasks working with the Production Leads and Production Supervisors.
- Participate in monthly safety meetings and promote a safe work environment
- Actively participate on ALAM’s emergency response (ER) team and ER entry team
- Reviews and updates the Standard Operating Procedures
- Reviews and updates the Learning Resources for the processes
- Completes annual personal goals to achieve the plant goals and their own personal development goals
- Assembles and disassembles production equipment
- Performs basic maintenance on equipment
- Drives a culture of "Do It Safe, Do It Right the First Time" with their actions and their words on a daily basis
- Successfully complete all assigned training
- Cross-trains peers on approved functions
- Ability to roll cylinders- Rolling cylinders requires an individual to tilt a cylinder slightly with one hand, and use the other hand to move the cylinder forward by rolling it
- Fitness for duty, including but not limited to: ability to lift 50 pounds and have the ability to climb ladders
- Actively participate on ALAM’s emergency response (ER) team including as an ER entry team member, which requires wearing a tight fitting full-face respirator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Specialist to assist and support the production operations. Key role is to supervise, directs and as necessary, participate in departmental (Processing and Packaging areas) work activities to produce the desired quality of finished products at the most favourable cost. Consistently strives to meet established quality standards.

Job Description

• Responsible for coordination and control of production processes to ensure activities follow as plan.
• Monitor the production output and maintain high-quality standards to meet KPIs.
• Oversee the quality of production and products to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all production activities.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure safe working environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of production area.

Requirement

• Proven experience as Production Specialist, or similar role.
• Experience in handling machinery is an advantage.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically fit.

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

1 Responsible to handle coverage support (24x7 mobile support) and provide permanent solution / workaround depending on the nature of issue.

2 Collaborate with interface teams to troubleshoot any interface issues and provide resolution.

3 Collaborate with Business users and stakeholders to understand and troubleshoot issues and provide resolution.

4 Work with Infrastructure / Cloud operations teams for any change requests, issues, patching activities etc.

5 Perform deployment & release management activities.

6 Collaborate with development squad to provide insights for defect fix by providing analysis performed.
