With rapid expansion plan, they are now looking for a new MES System Analyst (Manufacturing Execution System) / CIM Analyst / Engineer – PROMIS to be a part of their team here in the regional headquarters.

About the job

You will be responsible for:

• Oversee, support, and maintain the MES model, including products, routes, operations, and lot movements.
• Design, develop, maintain, and continuously improve assigned Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) applications and components.
• Provide 24/7 Level 2 & 3 support to ensure smooth operation of production lines.
• Collect requirements, design, develop, and deploy new versions of CIM applications.
• Document requirements and manage enhancements in the assigned area.
• Plan, coordinate, and deliver training for assigned applications.
• Work with other departments to enhance productivity, reduce errors and costs, and contribute to improvement projects as needed.

skills and experience required

As a successful applicant, you will have at least 3 years of experience in MES.

Basic Expectations for this position

• Proficient in all aspects of plant biotech laboratory procedure including ability to modify and adapt protocols to develop gene editing and transformation pipelines.
• Manage concurrent tasks in various stages of completion
• Provide assistance and back-up as needed to other research team members, including collecting and prepping large numbers of samples for sequencing
• Maintains an accurate and up-to-date laboratory notebook or tracks work as required by the project or supervisor
• Assists with general lab maintenance such as cleaning freezers, shared lab space and equipment, and ordering and stocking shared reagents and consumables
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimally a degree in plant biotechnology/ Biomedical Science or proven proficiency in plant biotechnology or related degreeMeticulous attention to detail, both in actual laboratory practice and in documentation
• Excellent general molecular biology laboratory skills, including proficiency in pipetting, documentation, and procedure
• Ability to accurately convert measurements and prepare chemical solutions and buffers as required
• Ability to understand protocols, modify and clarify them, and perform protocols with consistency, as demonstrated through previous laboratory experience
• Experience with high throughput molecular biology techniques and the ability to operate specialized and general equipment (biolistic particle delivery systems, fluorescent microscopes PCR and q-PCR machines, gel electrophoresis, tabletop centrifuge).
