• Collect and evaluate operational and test data, conducting analysis to support corrective and continuous improvement initiatives, and actively lead and participate in Engineering Continuous Improvement reviews.
• Assess and refine work methods, processes, and procedures to ensure alignment with cleanroom protocols, documenting current practices, and maintaining a knowledge base for new and transferred products.
• Conduct root cause analysis for assembly and testing issues, prepare failure analysis reports, and implement corrective actions to mitigate reoccurrence.
• Perform Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) as part of new product development processes, focusing on the cleanroom environment's unique challenges.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Degree in Mechanical Engineering (ME) or Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE).or related field.
• Possess at least 1 year of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in semiconductor, electronics, or engineering industries, with a preference for cleanroom manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, VBA, Power Apps, Power BI; Design software experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp Pro, and Inventor for tooling and fixture development.
• Familiarity with software programming languages, including Python, VBA, LabVIEW, and C++ for developing test scripts and automation.
• Added advantage for candidates with a background or knowledge in Industrial Engineering (IE) to optimize process efficiency and productivity.
• Effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels globally and the flexibility to participate in meetings across various time zones.
• Willingness to work in a Class 100 ISO 5 Cleanroom Environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise employees and manufacturing activities pertaining to the production of products and/or manufacturing processes in - and with manufacturing/technical knowledge of - 1 or more production areas, depending on the complexity of the areas
• Conduct performance reviews, including resolving performance issues
• Oversee the scheduling of work orders and team performance metrics
• Accountable to ensure staff is appropriately trained to perform assigned work
• Accountable for productivity, quality, and training metrics of staff, and provide regular progress reports and manufacturing metrics to management and cross-functional stakeholders
• Ensure appropriate staffing for all positions
• May participate in improvement projects, partner with engineering on investigations and/or corrective actions, perform non-conformance investigations for review with engineering, assures documentation content is valid

Education and Experience:

• Other: in Diploma, 5 years relevant experience
• with internship or substantial technical knowledge and experience in related manufacturing, and/or quality
• Experience working in multi-cultural teams with cultural sensitivity
• Experience working in a medical device industry Required

Additional Skills:

• Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite with working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, preferably JDE
• Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills; possessing strong collaboration skills in partnering with cross functional stakeholders in order to achieve objectives
• Full understanding of manufacturing procedures
• Ability to supervise/lead employees in a manufacturing environment

• Able to work Monday to Friday, 3.30pm to 12am. 2-ways transport will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of line leaders and operators to meet daily production output, quality, productivity and yield.

• Conduct daily pass-down meetings and escalate line issues if any

• Oversee manpower/overtime and consumables planning

• Ensure manufacturing and safety procedures are being followed

• Conduct training/coaching to leaders & operators to improve performance

• Implement ideas and improvement activities to prevent human errors

• Ensure good discipline and housekeeping in the line

• Coordinate with other departments to support projects, evaluations and preventive maintenance activities in the fab

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering/Science/Production/IT

• Preferably experienced in high-tech, high-vol manufacturing environment

• Good leadership and communication skills

• Willing to work 12-hour shifts (day or night)
