Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive analysis and ensure accurate and prompt processing of monthly payroll for a large workforce adhering to company policies and local regulations.
• Timely submission of statutory CPF payments to CPFB.
• Submit employees' IR21 and NS Claims in a punctual manner.
• Handle payroll, expat tax, and government grant-related journal entries and accruals.
• Prepare annual filings for employee stock and income taxes.
• Facilitate internal and external audits pertaining to payroll accounts.
• Oversee the management of government grants.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to independently implement improvements and enhancements, ensuring high levels of efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and handle employee-related information with sensitivity.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and maintain a high degree of accuracy.

Requirements:

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Summary

Develops and implements production/processing methods and controls to meet quality standards, production output in the most cost effective mean. Identify, investigates, troubleshoot and resolves production deficiencies. Recommends and implements improvement or modifications in sequence of operations, equipment utilization and related matters.

• Lead process related issues by pro-actively working with Quality, Production and Equipment team
• Review and Implement new router released from Engineering Dept.
• Leads projects for process and cycle time improvement.
• Update Production Router as per improvement.
• Identify, investigate, troubleshoot and resolve shortcoming in processes.
• Update the relevant Work Instructions and Operating procedures for process improvements.
• Participate as a team player in maintaining a conducive, healthy & safe work environment.
• Review areas for skills improvement of the technicians with the manufacturing specialist.
• Maintain 5S in the workplace
• Review the following reports and identify the shortcomings in process:
• Labour efficiency of individual worker
• Machine efficiency & utilization report
• Manufacturing Variance reports
• Support QA for failure analysis and identification of corrective action for customer returns and internal CAR’s
• Support QA team during customer audits
• Perform other duties as requested by management

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing or industrial engineering or related technical discipline required.
• Minimum of 5 years work experience in manufacturing environment required preferably in metal components/assemblies; machining, stamping, sheet metal fabrication.
• Preferably minimum 3 years work experience in welding of thin materials utilizing GTAW and PAW Processes.
