• Live studio direct News & Current Affairs programmes in both automated and traditional galleries. Content is not limited to broadcast content. May be required to support digital from time to time.

Key Responsibilities

• Cut large stone slabs to specific sizes using bridge-cutting machines.
• Operate profiling and polishing machines to shape and finish stone surfaces.
• Cut and polish sink holes according to templates.
• Use portable power tools to grind and polish stone edges.
• Mix and color match resin glue to blend with various stones.
• Apply sealant on natural stones like Granite after fabrication.
• Inspect the finished work to ensure quality.
• Clean equipment and the work area after completing tasks.
• Collaborate with co-workers, team leaders, and the Production Supervisor to meet production and quality standards.

The Job

You will join the Manufacturing Section equipped with latest manufacturing technology and advanced engineering control, and assist the Production Supervisor to provide logistic and administrative support for plant operation in a safe, stable and efficient manner.

The Daily

• Perform all routine & non-routine operations in compliance with HSE requirement & standard operation procedures.
• Monitor and ensure plant operation integrity and reliability through quality and equipment checks, and raw material availability.
• Compliance with Company HSE policy and Standards participate in company WSH programmes
• Provide logistic support for plant operation such as monitoring stock balance and raw material, and packaging control.
• Provide general administrative support for the whole section such as purchase and payment request, entry pass applications, inventory management and other related items.

The Essentials

• Possess a NITEC (NTC 2) and/or Diploma related to Chemical Process.
• Preferably have minimum two years of process operation experience.
• A team player with initiative, drive & commitment, able to take pressure and able to communicate well with others.
• Must be computer literate with proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

· Design and plan new menu with Management and Production team.

· Station in Production Kitchen to work with Commercial team in food preparation, operations and end products with focus on volume and shelf life.

· Responsible to execute volume production of Western Cuisine/Products and Chinese Cuisine/Products or whichever is flavor of the month.

· Ensure kitchen cleanliness and cost-effective operational schedule.

· Manage kitchen team’s leave and work schedule.

· Ensure kitchen supplies, equipment is kept in good operational condition according to FSSC standards and processes.

· Oversee products in stock are inventorised and managed in FIFO order to customers.

· Constant management of ingredient cost and work with Commercial team for regular meetings with management for updates. Train and guide new staff for hot site and veg processing/packing production.

· Submit SOP timely by next business day of every production.

· Ensure food hygiene and FSSC standards.

· Lead FSSC documentation and audit with consultants and management.

Requirements

· Minimum of 5 years work experience in the F&B sector preferably in the restaurant kitchen in Western Hot Meal products

· Working knowledge of MS OFFICE.

· Flair and working knowledge of Western Cuisine

· Working knowledge and qualified in ISO22k operating procedures, HACCP maintenance and daily record keeping to ensure compliance to such standards is essential.
