About the Role:
Lead the development, implem. entation, and monitoring of health, safety, and environmental policiesYou will play a critical role in ensuring workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of safety excellence within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Safety Policies: Create comprehensive safety policies in compliance with local laws, company safety standards, and customer requirements.
- Risk Assessment: Develop and review risk assessments to identify workplace hazards, ensuring all equipment, workspaces, and practices meet safety standards.
- Safety Training: Organize and conduct safety training, including site safety orientations, to align with local regulations and company policies.
- Accident Investigation & Reporting: Investigate workplace incidents to determine root causes, maintain accurate records, and report findings to relevant authorities.
- Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency procedures, such as fire drills and evacuation plans, ensuring all employees are trained and emergency equipment is functional.
- Health Programs: Promote workplace health initiatives, such as ergonomic assessments and wellness programs, to prevent occupational diseases.
- Liaise with External Parties: Collaborate with regulatory authorities, auditors, and external consultants on compliance matters, inspections, and safety improvements.
- Compliance Monitoring: Stay updated on health and safety legislation in Singapore, ensuring organizational compliance and advising management on necessary policy updates.
Requirements:
- Min 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of local safety regulations and standards.
- Excellent risk assessment, incident investigation, and reporting skills.
- With Certification in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) or related qualifications.
- Singaporean only.
