KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

The Production Supervisor (Food Processing) is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of our food processing facility. He/she is to in-charge of the overall production activities, and monitor the staff’s performance. Trainee will be trained to operate all API manufacturing related equipment and facilities in his assigned area in compliance with GMP and EHS requirements. Trainee to adhere to strict recording and filling of batch / manufacturing records, process safety and general housekeeping of all work areas. To provide practical processing inputs to identify opportunities for process improvement.

Trainee to be involved in:

• Involve in hands-on execution of the plant operations and assist in trouble-shooting
• Monitor and analyze processing parameters for atypical trends and improvement opportunities
• Perform raw material dispensing and equipment configuration with additional logistical support responsibility
• Prior experience with analytical instrument will be a plus point
• Actively support continuous improvement initiative
• Support quality or safety related investigation using appropriate problem-solving tool to determine the root causes and implement CAPA to prevent recurrence.
• Support Quality & Safety audits
• Adhere to any applicable EHS requirements
• Ability to adhere to regulatory requirements, written procedures and safety guidelines
• Ability to evaluate documentation/data according to company and regulatory guidelines

What you will learn:

• Foundational on-the-job training experience working in cGMP and key Global Supply API manufacturing site with state of art manufacturing facilities, including first in class Continuous Manufacturing facility
• To train to be an advocate for Continuous Improvement, with introductory basics on Lean Sigma concepts and coaching by supervisors to complete practical application through completion of improvement project

VS2

• Demonstrate commitment to cGMP, EHS compliance aspects of pharmaceutical plant operation
• Excellent self-motivated team player with hands-on attitude and good communication skills
• Ability to understand, apply and evaluate basic chemistry and physical principles
• Ability and willingness to work on 12-hour shift operations

This will be a 12-hours shift work.

The Principal Engineer, Supplier Quality is responsible for driving Quality performance of the suppliers to meet Sciex Product Quality requirements through supplier qualification processes, supplier control processes, aligned with supplier management strategies.

This position reports to the Senior Manager Supplier Quality and is part of the QARA team located in Singapore and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Drive improvement of quality performance of suppliers and support NPD/NPI project, ensure resolution of the issues identified in NPI.
• Lead supplier qualification activities for new suppliers with Global Sourcing & Global Supply Chain.
• Plan and execute periodic audits at suppliers' site to ensure suppliers' QMS is meeting ISO standards, IPC standards, FDA QSR (GMP) and compliance to agreed process control plans
• Monitor supplier performance, review periodic quality data/reports/scorecards and related action plans
• Drive resolution of complex material quality issues by deep diving suppliers' root cause analysis and by working with suppliers to monitor corrective action and facilitating with internal support where required.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering with of 5-8 years related experience in Supplier Quality Management, Process Engineering is preferred
• In Depth knowledge of PCBA manufacturing processes, familiar with IPC 610 standards
• Demonstrated experience on the performance of audits, lead-auditor certification preferred
• Familiar with problem solving tools such as 5 why root cause analysis, and Quality tools such as DFM, PFMEA, GR&R, Control Plan, SPC.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO13485 and FDA 21 CFR Part 820 will be added advantage

Travel Requirements:

• Ability to travel – 20-30%, and maybe travel on short notice

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Managing suppliers including supplier evaluation and supplier performance
• Broad knowledge of manufacturing operations and quality system practices in a Medical Device or Pharmaceutical company is preferred
