Overall Objectives

I) Job Purpose:

The Production Supervisor (Food Processing) is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of our food processing facility. He/she is to in-charge of the overall production activities, and monitor the staff’s performance. He/she must ensure that all staff adhere to the HSE rules & regulations, and to abide and upkeep the food processing & quality standards.

II) Roles & Responsibilities:

• Supervision of Production Line: Determining sequence of daily operations, and the use of proper tools / equipment. Overseeing the safety of the food preparation process by inspecting equipment and facilities to ensure safety standards are fulfilled. Monitoring employee attendance, performance, and productivity to ensure that all staff members are performing their jobs efficiently.

• Permanent night shift (10pm to 7am), 6-days week from Tuesdays to Sundays.
• Able to work in a very cold environment due to frozen seafood storage.

This 6-months contractual role will provide multi-sector management accounting support for the Singapore plant supporting the fast-growing Asia Pacific markets and NAB Gatorade US. This role will manage the management accounting of the annual cost budget (Manufacturing Overhead and Capital). Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out implementation activities for plant modifications, capital projects and other identified plant improvement projects in line with defined specifications, and qualification of facilities in accordance with site to approved procedures.
• Provides trouble shooting / continuous improvements to processes / systems.
• Maintain high GMP standard meeting the regulatory expectations such that the site is always inspection ready.
• Monitor and enforce compliance measures (including Data Integrity and safety) within their specific discipline to ensure inspection readiness of plant, as well as participate as an audit team member in the conduct of audits.
• Implementation of the GSK Production System (GPS) for Engineering department.
• Support on shutdown activities and on preventative plant maintenance for various systems at site.
• To support the development of facility master plan to ensure compliance to engineering standards, management of obsolescence and asset replacement.
• Monitor and manage the DCS/PLC systems to ensure constant and reliable support to the plant at all times so as to minimize disruption to the production process.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

• Good degree in Controls and Instrumentations - related progream
• Minimum 2 years of Controls experience in the process / pharmaceutical industry
• Experience in Delta V system, especially batch process.
• Experience in SIL calculation and TMR system (Honeywell Safety Manager) will be added advantage.
• Experience in the Siemen PLC system will be added advantage.
• Good understanding of validation process
• Familiar and understanding of Global Engineering Standard (GES) and understanding of industrial standards.
• Basic commercial knowledge & project management skills
• Effective communication & Operational Excellence skills

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Bachelor's Degree
• 15+ years of experience
• Strong experience in global/multi-national pharmaceutical environment, including direct experience either in Labeling, Regulatory Submissions, or Regulatory Affairs role
• Extensive business experience at required level to enable thorough understanding of the responsibilities associated with strategic pursuit and tactical application of evolving business processes
• Experience in coaching, developing and influencing people at various levels of the organization
• Excellent knowledge of tools used to design processes and process flows, etc.
• Strong consultation, project management and relationship building skills and a proven track record of leading diverse cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Nice-to-Have

• Master's degree
• Demonstrated consulting experience, preferably by an HR consulting firm
