Core Responsibilities

1. Ensure work order schedule is strictly adhered to for smooth operations

1. Formulate and provide directives for Production Department in meeting organization's goals and committed to Quality Management System.

Requirements:

• Preferred to have Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Precision Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years in a Manufacturing environment (preferably in Precision Engrg / Sheet metal industry) and with at least 4 years of supervisory capacity.
• Exposure with involvement in newly factory, product / process set-up is much preferred.
• In-depth understanding of manufacturing cycle and good budgeting control.
• Strong leadership with good analytical and problem solving skill, as well as dynamic in planning and result oriented.

Job Summary

Operation and performance

Salary :

JOB SUMMARY

 Plan materials requirements & process purchase orders to support the master production schedule.

 Coordinate the delivery schedule of purchased parts to the manufacturing facility to support the master production schedule.

 Support month-end closing functions to ensure materials inventory accuracy.

 Coordinate material flow with other departments & work on new materials lot qualification.

 Manage forecast demand fluctuations and analyze their impact to the master production schedule

 Coordinate closely with the Purchasing Team to ensure on-time delivery of raw materials.

 Work closely with the Production Team & RD Team on materials usage rate to ensure sufficient materials to support their manufacturing needs.

 Work closely with warehouse members to do monthly cycle counts.

 Help with FG shipment documentation preparation.

 Coordinate with Forwarder on shipment allocation and etc.

 Update Shipment status into the Customer system.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 Process PR & purchase order to Purchasing Dept.

 Prepare weekly reports and present to HQ(Japan).

 Prepare a forecast for the purchasing department for information sharing with suppliers.

 Maintain data integrity in all systems.

 Assist related departments in conducting monthly and yearly inventory checks.

 Prepare, Monitor and update FG shipment.

 Assist in maintaining proper ISO/OSHAH Standard Procedures.

 Any other duties as assigned by Superior.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

At least Diploma or 1~2 years of work experience in materials or production planning related field.

Skills Required (Must Have)

 Good communication, planning and negotiation skills

 Good analytical and people management skills

 Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

 Proficient in Advanced Excel

 Warehouse Management System knowledge

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES:

1. Organize, monitor and ensure manufacturing processes operated with minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital.

2. Initiates, implements, and manages the processes improvement program based on best practices in the metal drum making industry, with an emphasis on productivity and product quality.

3. Ensure all manufacturing processes are adhering to all Regulatory and Statutory Requirement.

4. Work with HR Department and assure that employee grievances are addressed in a timely fashion.

5. Conducts employee performance reviews based on job descriptions to determine competency, knowledge, and contribution of the maintenance technicians and engineering staff.

6. Maintain and ensure work safety and practices. Also continually improve safety record by addressing both physical safety issues and employee safety attitudes.

7. Maintain and improve housekeeping in all areas.

8. Evaluate, Train and Maintain individual skills (including work performance) are keeping up to date with best engineering management concepts and practices.

9. Ensure on time submission of overtime record to HR Dept for computation of monthly salary.

10. Establish and prepare process documentation such as work instruction, process specifications and assist on the quality plan.

11. Prepares reports, analyzes data, and makes recommendations for improving plant operations and solving production-related problems.

12. Ensures that subordinates are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated so that the maintenance program can be accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.

13. Conducts employee performance reviews based on job descriptions to determine competency, knowledge, and contribution of the staff.

14. Communicate regularly with all production and maintenance teams, both individually and as a group, to ensure good two-way communication concerning production and maintenance issues.

15. Assist in hiring of production personnel.

16. Maintain and update operating manuals for all the manufacturing equipment and facilities.

17. Maintain and update operating training manuals for all manufacturing processes.

18. Perform any other ad-hoc projects or tasks to be assigned by the HOD / Management from time to time.

Skill/Experience

* Minimum 2-3 years working experience in manufacturing environment.

* Able to supervise and lead the subordinates.

* Willing to work after working hour or during non-working days.

* Able to work under pressure.

* Computer literate.

* Knowledge in ISO is an advantage.
