Job Description

• Support SIOP process; generating MPS plan of assigned products to meet Demand
• Regular review of Service Spares or Consumables parts' requirement for assigned products. - Perform Trend analysis to determine the best planning strategy to adopt for manufacturing non SIOP parts to ensure product availability.
• Develop Weekly production schedules and coordinate with Production to execute to the production deadlines. Monitor actual output versus the Master Production Plan.
• Maintain finished goods inventory at target levels in ensure high service levels, i.e.
• Plan and minimize exposure to End-of-Life and obsolescence FG & raw material.
• Project quarterly inventory levels on a monthly basis. Achieve desired corporate inventory turn targets.
• Work closely with the Demand / DRP and logistics teams to ensure customer requirements can be met & ensure that shipments are made promptly.
• Adhere to established procedures and ensure execution complies to the Organization’s Quality standards and Regulatory requirements.
• Participate actively in continuous improvement programs and PPI initiatives
• Participate in New Product Introduction projects to ensure flawless execution when the products move into mass production.
• Timely compilation & distribution of Planning reports.

Education

• Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field or Diploma level with min 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent

Responsibilities:

Plan for production which include releasing of work orders and ensuring on-time delivery of shipments

Work closely with purchasing and warehouse/logistics groups to ensure on-time receipt, delivery of materials and finished goods shipments

Monitor and co-ordinate on material shortages, expediting and ensuring material availability to support production plan

Planning and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay

Plan schedules to ensure production line is optimized

Perform material planning based on manufacturing and production requirement and forecasts

Make suggestions for improvement in areas of cost reduction, processes, quality and productivity

Update and review the production and material status, ensure surplus materials and offcuts are utilized

Support and coordinate with production for the prototype samples run slot in

Requirements:

At least a Diploma or Degree in Manufacturing/Production/Supply Chain or equivalent

Min. 2 years’ of production planning experience in manufacturing industry

Good analytical skills and ability to organise work efficiently with minimum supervision

Good problem-solving skills, resourceful, detailed and ability to work independently

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Create manufacturing process (routing) and procedure (work instruction) per engineering BOM, quality plan and manufacturing process requirement.
• Design tooling and fixture as manufacturing process and operations’ needs.
• Design CNC machines programming and PLC recipe as process requirement and productions schedule.
• Analyze and continuously improve manufacturing process to achieve best production safety, quality, and cost performance.

Qualifications and Experience:

Job Description:

The CPPS group is seeking a highly motivated scientist or senior scientist to lead and conduct research in machine learning and AI-driven search and optimization algorithms for manufacturing applications. Cutting-edge algorithms will be deployed to support manufacturing decisions in (but not limited to),

• Multi-site/multi-enterprise inventory planning and control,
• Multi-resource production planning and scheduling,
• Value chain manufacturing decision support and decision-making

The key roles & responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Research into novel learning-centric optimization algorithms for efficient multi-resource planning and related value chain problems
• Working with a team of scientists and engineers to enhance the planning capabilities of existing or new enterprise decision-support systems
• Formulate scientific research directions and innovative proposals to secure competitive funding
• Understand the autonomous manufacturing domain and provide innovative solutions to industry problems in this area
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 standards and concepts is an advantage

Job Requirement:

PhD in Computer Science, Data Science or Mechanical/Industrial/Electrical Engineering

7 years’ experience in developing and deploying machine learning and data analytics (for Senior Scientist).
