Role and Responsibilities

1. Ensure all Lab Job Ticket assigned are performed accordingly and completed on time.

A Food Production technician is responsible for preparing and processing foods, ensuring that production meets quality standards and is delivered in a timely manner. Duties include operating small kitchen equitments like Mixer Grinder, Deep Frier, Buy Electric Cookers, packing and monitoring product quality.

A food production technician is need to prepare and package foods according to the company's standards. Food production workers may also be responsible for maintaining a safe and hygienic working environment, following food safety regulations and ensuring products meet food safety requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of food items

Requirements and Qualifications

Responsibilities:

· Reporting to the Production Supervisor and leading the Production operators.

· Achieve the Output in timely completion of production plan & requirement.

· Scheduling and assigning adequate resources, monitoring progress, and resolving problem

· Prepare Handler Equipment for production if not enough capacity.

· Follow customer disposition at Hold lot and Low Yield. Lots to release, retest reject, ICOS scan, 100% OQA, 100% inspection when customer give disposition.

· Maintain a clean and safe working area with housekeeping standards for employees and ensure that they conform to safety rules and regulations

· Project - Lead and/or participate in lean and continuous project improvement initiatives

· Work closely with other Shift Leaders to ensure production handovers are effectively communicated

· Support technicians on machine troubleshooting

· Support improvement project with process engineering team (cost / yield / machine UPH)

· Technical support for production and maintenance team for basic machine issue recovery

· Create and revise systems and procedures by analysing operating practices and requesting/ implementing change.

· Any additional tasks as assigned by the manager or management.

Requirements:

· Minimum Diploma in Engineering or equivalent

· Minimum 3 years of experience in either a technical environment or manufacturing industry

· Minimum 1 years of supervisory experience for a team of technical staffs (technicians/ operators)

· Prior hands-on experience in Test Production manufacturing (i.e. mechanical/electrical, troubleshooting)

· Able to perform a 8-hours rotating shifts (Both day & night shift), or

· Able to perform a 12-hours rotating shifts (Both day & night shift), when business needs.

· Able to demonstrate good communication, organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills

· Experience in implementing continuous improvement projects (Lean/Kaizen) and demonstrate resource planning capability.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor machinery on the assembly line to ensure smooth operation
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks, identify and address any issues with machine operation
• Troubleshoot & repair production machines for mechanism and electrical issues to minimise downtime

• Perform test to assess quality and integrity of ball bearings, documenting results accurately
• Visual inspections to identify defects or abnormalities in the manufacturing process
• Compile audit work papers and documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Assist in the development of audit protocols and procedures
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in work areas to promote efficiency and safety
• Review/recommend changes on procedures for work environment and safety aspects (E.g. IATF 16949, ISO14001, Safety Management Systems, etc.)
• Attend meetings, reviews, discussion and coordinate with Superior to achieve target and yield rate.

Requirements:

• ITE Nitec/Higher Nitec/Polytechnic diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronic engineering
