The Production Planner's responsible is:

• Responsible for materials planning or production planning schedules to control work flow, including Forecasting, Order Promising, MRP, Master Data, Engineering Change, Management, and Inventory Turns.
• Responsible for material requirements planning (MRP) settings, more than 1 year of demand forecasting, and management of inventory levels.
• Responsible for inventory management to optimize material flow.
• Responsible for maintaining demand management master plan.
• Work with production team for production planning coordination to determine appropriate master build plan/ inventory levels to meet the business' requirements
• Responsible for training and coaching junior planners
• Ad hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain or relevance
• Minimum 3 years experience in production and demand planning
• Experience in using SAP and Excel Macro

Engineering Assistant (Assembly/AutoCAD/Technical Drawing)

Responsibilities:

• Perform and ensure that assembly builds and test are completed as scheduled and according to required specifications, drawings and work instruction.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Reports directly to the Production Manager
• Coordinate production workflows in the shopfloor
• Plan and prioritise operations to ensure maximum performance and minimal delay
• Plan a weekly machine loading plan and 3 months forecasted loading plan
• Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand
• Recommend to Production Manager on deployment of workers and other staff to meet production and delivery requirements
• Recommend shift schedule to Production Manager accordingly to production needs
• Liaise with Purchasing and Suppliers for material deliveries and outsourcing schedules
• Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time
• Address issues whenever they arise with the aim of minimal disruption
• Obtain output information (Number of finished products etc.)
• Prepare and submit status and performance
• Collaborate with Quality, Sales, Store, Engineering and other departments to ensure good production flow and coordination
• Manage and train the assistant planners and subordinates
• Any other duties assigned by the Manager

Requirements

• Diploma or further education/certificates is preferred
• Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principle
• Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP Systems
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication abilities
• Able to converse in English and Mandarin
• Willing to learn and be a team player
