Context:

Reporting to the Head of Monitoring, you will be the eyes and ears of the IT system. You ensure the availability and performance of the infrastructures, equipment, software and processes supporting the data in order to anticipate anomalies, batch delays, FileSystem problems, and the like.

Job Description:

• Contribute to IT projects for Antaes clients
• Batch Job Management - monitor the end-of-day batch and ensure that it starts on the prescribed time, perform first level analysis if there’s failure, perform recovery and involve other stakeholders when necessary. Do a milestone check of the critical jobs to ensure they complete on time and do the proper escalation if there’s any delay.
• Application System and Infrastructure Monitoring – constantly monitor the alerts from the monitoring tool that tells whether an application, server, website, service, disk space or other system resources are having issue and inform the support persons if necessary.
• Service Requests and User Support – handling of user requests such as running of one-time job, scheduling of new job, copying and resending of file, troubleshooting transactional problem and involving other experts if necessary.
• Software Release Support – support the regular release of new software from development teams by stopping and resuming the batch when necessary and ensuring all systems are available for user sanity testing after release deployment.

Job Requirements:

• Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree

Objectives of the position:

The NPI / Production Process Engineer is required to collaborate with the Program Management Team

and be involved in New Product Introduction activities and the creation of manufacturing Work

Instructions as well as other process documents. The incumbent is also expected to improve the work

processes actively and continuously to achieve high productivity and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

 Early involvement in NPI (New Product Introduction) activities.

 Interpret technical information (documents, drawings, and data) and analyse the manufacturing

process elements.

 Create Bill of Materials structure.

 Create manufacturing Work Instructions and other process documents in collaboration with the

Program Management, Production and Quality Assurance Teams.

 Carry out time studies and update the process cycle times.

 Provide timely technical support to the Production Team pertaining to manufacturing process and

quality issues.

 Engage in DFM and Lean Line Design activities.

 Relentlessly explore, evaluate, and review new tools, equipment, processes, etc.

 Actively and continuously improve the work processes to improve work efficiency and quality.

 Work with Program Management, Production, and Quality Assurance Teams to identify potential

process risks and make recommendations to mitigate these risks.

Skills & Qualification:

 Minimum Diploma in any Engineering field such as Electrical, Mechanical/Mechatronics,

 Min. 3 years of manufacturing process engineering experience, preferably dealing with wire or cable

harness. Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Asst. Engineer position

 Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings

 Basic manufacturing knowledge in cable harness assemblies, plastics and sheet metal preferred

 Experienced in the creation Bill of Materials structures

 Good knowledge on Solid Edge or SolidWorks preferred.
