JOB DESCRIPTION
1. General
Planner is responsible for Sales order acknowledgement, issue Purchase Order, schedule production plan according to demand and invoice for shipment. Develop production plan according to available capacity and scheduling of work orders per customers requirement (Assemble to order). Analyzes supply and demand at the family and master schedule level to determine out of balance conditions and recommended alternatives to superior. . Experience in warehousing management and operations is necessary
2. Resposiblilities
· Responsible for creating and maintaining master schedule for material and capacity planning balancing the supply and demand for a product family.
· Create Purchase Order and acknowledge Sales Order from Supply Units.
· Coordinate with Suppliers, Supply Unit, production and logistics to ensure delivery schedule are met.
· Expedite material from Suppliers and follow up with them on discrepancies claim.
· Review Order Point, Safety Stock and Demand and maintain components at optimize level to minimize slow, non-movers obsolescence.
· Participate in key performance indicator on Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.
· Support ISO 9001 quality and ISO 14001 environment management system
· Drive warehouse improvements with data base analysis and best practice recommendations.
JOB SPECIFICATION
Requirement
- Diploma/Degree in Purchase and Material Management or Business Administration
- At least 2-3 years of Materials Management/Supply Chain experience
- Experience in SAP/MRP application advantageous
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel / PowerPoint / Word /Access.
- Hands on person and used to work in a smaller organization
- Good communication skills and relationship with all level of staff , with positive attitude
- Additional experience in 3PL logistic and purchasing /vendor management preferred
