Working Hours:

• Day Shift: 8:00am – 4:00pm (Mondays – Saturdays)
• Afternoon Shift: 2:30pm – 10:30pm (Mondays – Saturdays)
• Night Shift: 11:00pm – 8:00am (Mondays – Fridays) + Allowance
• Must be able to commit to OVERTIME
• Weekly Rotation basis.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate printing and/or enveloping machines
• Pack printed documents in accordance with job order requirements
• Perform quality control (QC) checks on printed and/or packed documents
• Identify and sort documents/products in an organized manner
• Carrying load between 15kg - 20kg for delivery
• Ensure printed/packed documents are ready for delivery

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of working experience in a manufacturing environment
• Able to work rotating shifts (day, afternoon, or night shift) and Overtime.

Project Details

Assist the Production Process Engineers with the following tasks:

For New Products or Prototypes :

• Acquire first hand experience with the production processes through hands-on work done under the guidance of the Technicians and Engineers
• Prepare detailed Work Instructions
• Establish Cycle Time for each process step

For current running Products that already have existing Work Instructions and Cycle Times established:

• Acquire first hand experience with the production processes through hands-on work done under the guidance of the Technicians and Engineers
• Review and verify the existing Work Instructions
• Review and verify the established Cycle Times against the actual work as well as the CT stated in SAP

Intended Learning Outcomes

• Gain first hand/ hands-on experience in the use of various hand tools and machineries, as well as manufacturing work in general
• Gain hands-on experience in the use of common Office and Engineering softwares
• Learn and understand the importance of Work Instructions and Cycle Times in ensuring good Productivity and Quality

Preferred Skillset

• Passion for engineering work (hands-on/ practical work + documentation)

Job Responsibilities:

• Be competent in actual plant operation, and support and assist the shift supervisors and production technicians in the production of EVOH
• Monitor and maintain utility supply system operation
• Arrange disposal of waste products with authorized waste handling companies
• Control raw materials inventories
• Prepare equipment for maintenance and commissioning of equipment
• Work with Maintenance Department on Transition and shutdown maintenance planning
• Review and update all standard operating procedures, training manual and conduct classroom and on the job training for process technicians
• Lead safety activities for PPE, 5S, KY and other safety exercise for technicians
• Support the orientation, training and supervision and evaluation of newly employed and existing production personnel according to the Total Company Training Plan and production demands
• Manage the training of production technicians to achieve the standards required of HSEQ policy and its compliance system i.e. ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and SS 651
• Participate in continual and process improvement

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years polymer or petrochemical plant experience
• Ability to lead people in a supervision or lead role
• Exceptional knowledge and application of all safety rules and safety processes required in a chemical plant
• Experience in the operation of chemical plant equipment (such as distillation columns, heat exchangers, pumps, instrumentation systems, extruders, and continuous stirred tank reactors)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• To assemble and integrate modules, sub-modules or systems based on the assigned blueprint specifications, routine work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams etc.
• To build, develop, repair and/or test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, sub-assemblies and components.
• Performs examinations on the assemblies, sub-assemblies and components with test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and/or vacuum pumps for potential defects.
• Receives parts and performs audits to ensure all necessary parts are available to perform build, test and repair. Inspects parts for defects, troubleshoots and improves processes
• Observes all safety standards. Maintains a secure, safe, clean and healthy work environment. Attends required health and safety training and follows safety and security policies, procedures and practices. Promptly reports accidents, injuries, safety hazards, or emergencies to supervisor or Safety dept. Follows operating instructions, uses protective equipment when required, and uses equipment and materials properly. Actively strives to prevent accidents and injuries.

Job Requirements:

• Nitec or Diploma in any related Engineering field
• Basic computer skills.
• Comfortable to work in clean room environment and wear jumpsuit.
• Perform any ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
