Overview:

• We are seeking a highly experienced and analytical individual to join our Corporate Finance team as a Finance Assistant Manager [Taiwan MNC] (a new set-up in Singapore). In this crucial role, you will play a vital role supporting the Finance Manager and contributing significantly to the success of the department's strategic initiatives. You will take ownership of complex financial tasks and projects.

Note: Occasional travel (20%) to Taiwan will be required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic support to the Corporate Finance team, ensuring efficient operations and project execution.
• Assist the corporation in Financial Reporting, Analysis & Planning.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to support decision-making processes.
• Monitor and manage manufacturing costs, including variance analysis and cost reduction initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and company policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial performance and support strategic objectives.
• Assist in internal and external audit processes, including liaising with auditors and addressing audit findings.
• Support ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as required.
• In the absence of the Finance Manager, assume full responsibility for the team and their activities, leading and overseeing all aspects of the department.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or related discipline.
• 7-10 years of experience in corporate finance or a related role.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Able to speak mandarin to liaise with Taiwan counterparts is essential.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel to Taiwan approximately 20% of the time.

Overview

We are seeking for a highly motivated and experienced Materials Project Manager to focus on transition of NPI products into HVM. The role will be responsible for driving sourcing strategies, cost reductions and business unit alignments for new products.

Responsibilities

• Focus on transition of NPI products into HVM
• Responsible for driving sourcing, sourcing strategies, cost reductions and Business Unit alignment for new products.
• Key focal for engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain for assigned products.
• Manage across multiple functional groups to achieve common goals.
• Break down and report on detailed Bills of Materials
• Align supply chain strategies with Commodity Teams and align manufacturing strategies with Global Operations for Supplier Selection to match the quality, delivery and cost goals
• Drive lead time negotiations and strategies with suppliers and Purchasing to meet lead time targets
• Negotiating with suppliers’ terms including closing of contracts for the delivery of (strategic) parts (deadlines, quality, conditions, prices)
• Performs opportunity analysis to identify projects that will deliver significant cost savings and value improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum a Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement with proven experience in supplier negotiation
• Experience with contract management and supplier relationship management
• Ability to lead cross functional teams and influence stakeholders
• Knowledge of Purchasing, (strategic) purchasing technique and industry trends
• Semiconductor, capital equipment or related industry experience
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and SAP experience is required.
• Must be comfortable giving presentations to stakeholders and project teams
• Detailed oriented, have strong communication skills in written and spoken English and be able to take initiative
• APICS Certification, Lean Six Sigma Training, Negotiation certification or other Supply Chain related programs a plus.
