Roles & Responsibilities

Principal Accountabilities:-

1. Lead and in-charge the Special Projects such as:-

a. To enhance the service quality of the Japanese Business;

b. To establish customer benefit services with vendors;

c. To introduce Japanese hospitality and culture to our employees, distribution channel, clients and society.

2. Report in Japanese regularly to our Head Office in Tokyo.

3. Underwrites and specialize in Marine Hull and other general insurance classes.

4. Provide customer service in Japanese to Japanese clients on their inquiries, requests, complaints and claims matters.

5. Provide Japanese language support to staff in other departments, where appropriate.

6. Provide administrative support.

7. Plan and organize visitations to clients (new business/renewal/claims happenings).

8. Develop good relationship with clients to maintain and enhance existing clients’ business.

9. Plan renewal strategies for Japanese corporate clients.

10. Prepare underwriting quotations to clients in accordance with the Company’s underwriting guidelines.

11. Prepare referral form, issue Cover Notes and collect of premiums.

12. Maintain clients’ details and information.

Job Requirements:-

1. Minimum Degree Holder qualification;

2. At least 10 years of experience in General Insurance industry;

3. Fluent in written and spoken English and Japanese for handling local and Japanese clients;

4. Good understanding of doing Japanese business;

5. Possess good interpersonal and communication skills;

6. Able to multi-task, and is a team player, conscientious, tactful and willing to learn new skills;

7. Organized and has the ability to work under pressure;

8. Able to work independently and interact with different levels of customers;

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office application.

Job scope:

• Able to work independently on projects and collaborate with the team
• Diligent with coordinating logistics, liaising with clients and following up on assigned tasks
• Project management and client servicing on multiple projects at one time
• Maintaining working relationship with existing clients
• Researching of projects once storyboard is ready
• Ensuring that budget is controlled and allocated accurately
• Hiring freelancers and other crews to shoot films or videos
• Going on set for shoot
• Supervising projects from pre-production to post-production
• Ensuring timeline are met timely

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in filmmaking, mass communication or producing
• At least 3 years relevant experience in the media industry and video production
• Organized in work and possess good time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-pace working environment
• Good team player
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere & After Effects is a plus factor
• Having class 3 driving license
• Able to work on weekends when needed

As a marketing data analyst with a strong background in data analysis, you will report to the Head of Digital Marketing in MSIG Asia. You will work with local marketing teams in business units (BUs), which are insurance companies in countries and territories in the region, to analyse customer data, identify marketing opportunities, and track campaign status. You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between raw data and strategic marketing actions. With your expertise in marketing analytics, you will support campaign design and execution, reporting and tracking end-to end campaign funnel, and reviewing campaign effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Insights: Use data to uncover actionable insights, optimise campaigns, and inform strategic decisions across our marketing initiatives.
• Campaign Optimisation: Develop and apply data models to optimise performance marketing channels (e.g., social media, email campaigns, website analytics). Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
• Reporting & Visualisation: Utilise statistical tools and techniques to analyse data and generate actionable insights. Provide insights and recommendations to improve customer acquisition, retention, and engagement.
• Collaboration: Partner closely with marketing teams in the BUs in the region to design and implement data-driven marketing strategies and integrate data insights into business strategies.
• Customer Segmentation: Leverage customer data to drive segmentation strategies and targeted marketing efforts, focusing on personalisation and customer journey enhancements.

Requirements

• 7+ years' experience working within a similar role in digital marketing with a focus on data analytics in any consumer products and service industry is required. Solid understanding of digital marketing channels, metrics, and optimisation techniques.
• Proficiency in data analytics and visualisation tools (Excel, Google Analytics, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
• Experience with SQL, Python is a plus
• Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., MS Dynamics, Salesforce)
• Understanding of insurance or financial marketing principles and practices is preferred.
• Experience working with large datasets and knowledge of data warehousing.
• Ability to understand a system architecture, a company system architecture and the best practices of other companies, and to consider and promote sustainable architecture.
• Knowledge of statistics required to understand and utilise internal and external data. This includes understanding testing and statistical analysis methods, as well as having practical knowledge to optimally apply these methods.
• Ability to transform complex data into actionable insights that drive business decisions.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
• Team player with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and lead cross-functional projects.
• Highly organised and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to deadlines.
