Kennedys is looking for a Marketing & Events Executive to join the business development and marketing team in Singapore on a 4-month fixed-term maternity cover.

The individual will also be part of the APAC regional team, working closely with colleagues in Hong Kong and Australia. The role will also contribute to initiatives in the APAC region and globally.

This role will report to the Business Development & Marketing Manager, Singapore, and will work closely with members of our APAC regional team.

Team

Kennedys global Business Development & Marketing team promotes Kennedys’ services and supports the firm’s global growth ambition and our key clients and markets. The APAC BD&M team works in close collaboration with colleagues in UK, EMEA, LatAm and the US on a wide range of marketing and communications initiatives.

The APAC BD&M team supports our growing office network (currently six locations). The current team covers Clients & Markets and Marketing & Communications, although all team members work together to support the full range of business development and marketing activity in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Project manage and end-to-end coordination of all firm, practice and client events hosted by the Singapore office (seminars, webinars, boardroom lunches, client dinners, cocktail functions, sporting events, and other client targeted activities). This includes:

1. researching and developing event concepts, venues, catering options, and tracking expenditure against budget
2. preparing and distributing event communications, and managing distribution lists
3. monitoring event RSVPs, preparing attendance lists and run sheets
4. liaising with venues and suppliers to ensure bookings, catering, AV requirements, signage etc. are delivered to the highest quality for all events
5. producing required collateral (name badges, signage, menus, presentation materials etc)
6. on site and/or virtual management and support
7. post event feedback, reporting and administrative duties such as payment requisitions and expenditure reconciliations.
8. ensure event processes, calendars and protocols are followed.

• Plan and coordinate marketing activities for the Singapore office including events, newsletters, social media, working in collaboration with the APAC team.
• Support agreed sponsorships and partnerships to ensure maximum benefit for the firm.
• Support firmwide and regional marketing campaigns.
• Manage the Firm’s branded merchandise including liaising with external suppliers, internal distribution, and stock control.
• Help maintain a library of partner and lawyer CVs, Singapore proposals and capability statements.
• Help to prepare and format content in the firm’s templates for both internal and external purposes (profiling collateral, client contact cards, presentations etc).
• Arrange professional photo shoots for new starts in Singapore.
• General administrative duties and ad-hoc tasks to support the business development and marketing initiatives of the firm.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Administrative Support

• Handle day-to-day operations including sales enquire and transactions including order processing and fulfillment

Graphic Design

• To provide creative support to e-commerce store gift order customisation requests, working with vendors to ensure projects are completed on time with a quality product

Website/Mailbox Management

• Manage SE E-commerce website for sales orders, promotions, new product listing, and last-mile delivery fulfillment.
• Maintain accurate records of stock inventory data and update the e-commerce website.
• Confirm product availability and coordinate with the production team for order fulfillment to ensure timely delivery to customers on the website.

Marketing Manager Roles & Responsibilities:

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Director to lead our marketing strategy and drive significant growth. This role is pivotal in strengthening our brand's identity, executing innovative campaigns, and optimizing our online and offline presence.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Management & Marketing Strategy:

• Develop and implement a robust brand strategy that resonates with our target audience.
• Oversee the creation of high-quality marketing materials, including product descriptions, visuals, and promotional content. (localization of media orchestration, availability of assets, campaign validation within budget)
• Manage the brand's social media presence, engaging with our community and driving brand awareness.
• Collaborate with different business unit to develop compelling marketing campaigns.
• Analyse marketing performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize future strategies.
• Develop and manage the marketing budget, optimizing resources for maximum impact and return on investment.
• Identify and establish strategic partnerships and alliances that can contribute to the company's growth.

E-commerce Strategy & Execution:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to drive online sales and customer acquisition.
• Optimize website performance, user experience, and conversion rates.
• Manage digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media.
• Oversee online advertising campaigns, analysing data to optimize performance.
• Collaborate with the e-commerce team to ensure seamless integration of marketing efforts.

Team Leadership & Management:

• Lead and mentor a high-performing team of marketing professional.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the marketing team.
• Provide regular feedback and coaching to team members.
• Ability to adapt to changing market condition and consumer preferences and assign clear responsibilities and delegate tasks effectively.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in marketing, with a strong focus on e-commerce.
• Proven track record of driving revenue and brand growth through innovative marketing strategies.
• Deep understanding of digital marketing trends and technologies.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to inform strategic decisions.
• Experience with marketing automation tools and platforms.
• Experience with SEO & SCM
• Knowledge of CRM systems and customer loyalty programs.
• Pro-active, hands-on, able to work independently, organised, team player
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
