As part of Euromonitor’s expansion plan in SEA, this Business Development role is part of the corporate sales team based in the Singapore regional office. You will be responsible for targeting new organization’s within your territory, across South East Asia. You will be a highly self-motivated sales professional with a proven track record for selling in the business-to-business arena. You’ll have the tenacity, drive, commercial awareness and persuasiveness to find the right contact, understand the client’s issues, and match and apply the benefits in your solution. You will often need to involve several stakeholders, both internally and externally, in different locations across the world so strong networking and organization skills as well as an understanding of corporate purchasing dynamics are a must.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate sales with new clients in your designated territory (Food & Nutrition, Drinks, Health & Beauty, Packaging, Ingredients, Luxury & Fashion, Channels, Travel, etc). This role targets large, multinational companies and companies who need consumer data to help them make strategic decisions
• Identify key sponsors, influencers and decision makers at target companies and ensure that you understand their roles and objectives, and that they understand the benefits and applications of using data.
• Create a sales plan on how to reach sales targets and ensure implementation of the plan
• Research a strong prospect list
• Take ownership of your personal sales targets
• Educate your new clients on how to use our online database and services to ensure renewal contracts and opportunities to increase contract values.

Requirements:

• At least 1-2 years of B2B sales experience
• Proven experience of selling to large multi-national organisations

Job Description

1. Process direct and PO e-invoices, non-invoice templates, and hardcopy payments in the system.
2. Creation of vendor and deposit records in the system.
3. Raise online and IBU journals in the system.
4. Verify all relevant transactions received.
5. Liaise with the agencies on the day-to-day operations and resolve issues/problems brought up by them.
6. Check the system daily to process Service Requests.
7. Any other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

Supervision and Team Management:

1. Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
2. Provide guidance, support, and supervision to accounting staff.
3. Leading and motivating the accounting team in order to achieve the set OKR and KPI
4. Ensure that team members adhere to accounting principles and company policies.
5. Prepare financial forecast for inter-companies billing.
6. Work with department heads to align financial goals across the company

Financial Reporting:

1. Maintain Full set of accounting records for multiple companies.

3. Reviewing financial statements for accuracy and make adjustments when needed.
4. Implement and maintain internal controls to protect company assets.

Compliance and Regulations:

1. Stay updated on accounting regulations and ensure the company stays compliant..
2. Ensure compliance with local government requirements and timely reporting to relevant regulatory bodies.
3. Coordinate with auditors and external consultant on compliance matters.

Process Improvement:

1. Identify areas for improvement and increase efficiency in accounting processes.
2. Implement best practices to streamline accounting procedures.
3. Participate in system upgrades or implementations.
4. Perform other related duties as assigned by immediate superior.

Job Requirement

• Diploma or Accounting qualifications.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounting job, ability to maintain full set of accounts will be an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Excel and common accounting software.
