Senior Sales Executive (Freight Forwarding)

Salary Range: $3500.00 to $4200.00
Working hours: 5 days, 9am – 5:30pm
Working Location: Changi Airfreight Centre

Responsibilities:

• Assist Local Customers and overseas freight forwarders by understanding their requirements and providing tailored solutions.
• Communicate regularly with Local Customers and overseas agent offices to update them on shipment statuses and ensure seamless coordination.
• Source and secure new sales opportunities through inbound inquiries, outbound cold calls, and emails and schedule appointments for sales.
• Prepare and submit competitive quotations for cross-trade and international shipments, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client needs.
• Track sales leads, coordinate quotes, and maintain accurate customer accounts while providing excellent customer service.
• Follow up proactively on submitted quotations to achieve a high success rate and close deals effectively.
• Support the operations department to ensure successful delivery of services that meet or exceed agent expectations.
• Ensure all data are updated in system/spreadsheets and work closely with HQ Marketing Manager for further development and support business growth.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Management to contribute to organisational success.

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of both Freight operations and sales processes

Job Responsibilities:

• Posting of invoices to accounting system with proper supporting documents
• Prepare monthly AP journals and postings
• Prepare monthly AP schedules
• Prepare bank reconciliation
• Update payment transactions in cash book and reconcile to AP posting
• Monitor and update hedging transactions (sungard control sheet)
• Issue invoices for intercompany re-charge
• Liaise with inter-department to ensure that invoices are properly authorized and collated for posting and payment
• Ensure accuracy and timely closing of monthly AP module

Job Requirements:

• LCCI / Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification
• With 2 - 4 years of working experience in handling accounts payable/ receivable
• Proficient in Dynamic 365 accounting software
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadline

As part of our continued business expansion, we are seeking a dynamic Key Account Executive to drive

business growth and customer satisfaction in the local Singapore market, with a specific focus in the

analgesic and FMCG industries.

In this role, you are required to identify opportunities to increase sales and customer satisfaction,

develop account strategies to meet sales targets, identify product placement opportunities, analyse

market trends and conducting in-depth market research to identify potential growth opportunities,

collaborating with sales and marketing team on promotional campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage key accounts in the local Singapore market to ensure business growth and customer

satisfaction.

2. Develop and implement key account strategies to achieve sales targets and business

objectives.

3. Identify opportunities for product placement and increased brand visibility in the analgesic

sector.

4. Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market.

5. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to plan and execute promotional campaigns.

6. Negotiate contracts, agreements, and pricing with key clients, ensuring profitability and longterm

partnerships.

7. Provide regular performance reports and updates on key account activities to sales team.

8. Any tasks assigned by line manager


Requirements

• Proven 2-3 years’ experience with track record success in sales/ key account management,

preferably in the FMCG / Pharma channel

• Experience with supermarkets, convenience stores, travel retail or pharmacy channel clients

will be an advantage.

• Trade Marketing experience, Distributor management experience will be an added advantage.

• Ability in problem-solving and negotiation, Excellent communication

• Handling the pressure and stress of achieving targets

• Proficient in MS office suite.

• Good to have if you possess a valid class 3 driving licence
