Role Purpose

The Assistant Capacity Manager supports the achievement of yield and profitability targets by managing capacity effectively across all relevant bi-directional service legs. The scope of this includes monitoring and managing utilizations and yield proactively through effective forecasting, planning and service design, supporting partnerships, and coordinating cargo flows and transshipments in conjunction with Line Managers/assistant and Capacity Managers to manage capacity across the network’s service strings.

Role Accountabilities

Yield Management

· Support optimisation of capacity/inventory of voyages and therefore contribute to P&L outcomes.

· Analyse and recommend optimal mix of cargo carried on any given voyage to ensure the best possible financial return, considering long and short-term factors, including but not limited to customer impact, contracts and competitor response.

· To develop reports and systems to support the Capacity Manager and Line Manager in ensuring the maximum possible yield is achieved on every voyage (given pricing set by Market Managers) and reviewed accordingly in month-end forecasts and actual results.

· Proactively drive effective internal communication with other Capacity network teams keeping our cost exposure under control and therefore allowing the best yield / return for the company.

Seasonal & Short-Term Capacity Planning

· Support the establishment of systems to monitor and provide information on voyage/vessel capacity utilization, and recommend suitable actions.

· To monitor and drive bookings to ensure that each sailing is in line with model vessel put in place by the Capacity Manager.

· Develop and maintain a 12-month capacity plan for the service based on demand and supply forecasts and budgets, and to play an active role in coordinating and putting into effect seasonal capacity adjustments, including blankings, port omissions / additions, and one-off peak charter voyages.

· To drive and manage the short-term capacity adjustment (designed by Capacity Manager) such as cargo transfers, transshipments, port omission / additions as required.

· To assist co-ordinating ‘extraordinary’ events in the management of the service such as vessel breakdowns changes and dry dockings.

Internal Customer Support

· Work closely with Commercial and Port Operations teams, as well as competitors/partners, and make analyses and recommendations pertaining to capacity management, keeping in mind targets on yield, customer service, and profitability.

· In charge of the day-to-day monitoring/reporting on specific service stings identified as problematic and allocated to the Assistant by the Capacity Manager.

· Develop and implement processes for continuous improvement.

· Main strong relationship with point of contact with Customer Service on day-to-day operational matters regarding customers’ bookings.

Partnerships

· To support and maintain effective relationships and, where appropriate, partnerships with other carriers or regional service providers in order to optimise Swire Shipping’s capacity with effective communication.

Crisis Management

· Make every effort to be aware of and understand your role in the event of a crisis.

· Make every effort to attend any relevant training, simulations and or meetings relating to Crisis Management.

Assistant Restaurant Manager (Jiang-Nan Chun)

To support the seamless daily operations of the restaurant, which includes maintaining exceptional service standards among team members, inspiring and engaging team members, overseeing employee relations, facilitating communication across all levels of staff, promoting career growth opportunities, ensuring compliance with wage and hour regulations, conducting training sessions, and addressing other operational needs at Jiang-Nan Chun.

What you will do

Supporting the Restaurant Manager in leading our Jiang-Nan Chun team to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Ensure adherence to all policies, procedures/standards, and training programs while fostering a positive work environment to achieve company objectives. Maintain cleanliness and functionality of front-of-house equipment, oversee employment performance appraisals, and address guest issues promptly. Manage service manpower planning, stock control, and maximize sales opportunities with comprehensive menu knowledge. Facilitate communication within the front-of-house team, and oversee new hire onboarding and training. Manage cash handling procedures, implement health and safety regulations, and contribute to smooth restaurant operations while upholding unparalleled standards of presentation and service.

What you bring

• Minimum of 2 years of service experience in a luxury hotel or Michelin restaurant, including 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Demonstrates extensive F&B service and operations expertise with a strong emphasis on VIP customer service.
• Excels in problem-solving and innovative thinking, fostering a team-oriented management style with an emphasis on open communication.
• Skilled in building and maintaining relationships across departments and with guests.
• Possesses administration knowledge in F&B operations and quality management, proficient in Microsoft Office programs.

Schedule & Hours:

This position requires a person with a flexible schedule and the ability to work on a rotating split-shift basis, including weekends, and holidays

· Responsible for working closely with staff in day-to-day outlet operation

· Maintain good rapport with staff to ensure sales targets are achieve by individual and team performance

· Ability to drive sales and build a new customer base

· Promote brand awareness and the company’s service/ products to customers

· Handle customer’s feedback professionally

· Lead and motivate staff in providing excellent service

· Deliver professional nail services, including manicure/ pedicure, extension and gel nail services

· Good excellent cleanliness and hygiene practices

· Recommending various nail designs and nail art to clients

· Evaluating the condition of clients’ nails and advising them on proper nail care and suitable nail care treatments

· Sanitising all nail instruments and equipment before each use

· Ensuring that workstations are kept clean and orderly

· Ensuring that nail supplies are adequately stocked

· Advise clients on nail care and the use of products and colours

· Promote and sell nail care products

· schedule client appointments and accept payments

· Other duties as and when assigned

• Generative AI Expertise: Experienced in Generative AI solutions to enhance digital transformation initiatives. Utilize platforms and tools to create innovative AI-driven solutions that meet business needs.
• Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on digital and AI solutions. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective project delivery and support.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project delivery and team performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Over 15 years of global experience in consulting, solutioning, and implementing digital transformation initiatives.
• Proven track record in managing transformation projects and implementing platforms
• Strong project management and program management skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership qualities.
• Experience in developing and executing communication plans.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Experience in Generative AI solutions.

Technical & Functional Skills:

• Experienced in Software as a Service product lifecycle
• Strong knowledge of vendor development, purchasing, subcontracting, and inventory management.
• Expertise in pre-sales, quality management systems, and e-procurement.
• Proficient in Generative AI technologies and tools.

Domain Expertise:

• Experience working with clients in specialty chemicals, pharma, wholesale distribution, consumer packaged goods, telecom, automotive, aviation, manufacturing, oil & gas, banking, and public sector.
• Extensive experience in project management and digital transformation at major consulting and technology firms.

This role is one of very few positions that are primed to directly influence the guest experience. You will directly be able to ensure that our guests leave happy and satisfied with the service and experience at our restaurants—especially being able to identify unique opportunities to delight in the day-to-day service.

You'll be in charge of:

• Running a section of the restaurant effectively and ensuring consistency throughout service
• Prioritise the needs of guests and strive to exceed their expectations.
• Maintain a sense of urgency in fulfilling tasks and responding to guests' needs.
• If dishes require tableside preparation or presentation, you will be required to perform these duties
• Maintaining a good housekeeping regime and report any defects in furniture, fixtures and equipment
