The Airspace Mobility Solutions (AMS) business, part of the Global Business Unit Land and Air Systems, is providing leading edge Air Traffic Management (ATM), Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM), Security and Digital Aviation solutions for the Commercial and Defence sectors.

The AMS business manages 11% of the world’s airspace and with revenues of over 500 million Euros worldwide, is the global market leader in airspace management solutions. In Singapore, the business focus is the delivery and support of two key ATM solutions including TopSKY-ATC(HE) and LORADS-III.

This role will initially support the TopSKY-ATC(HE) product line.

Role Description

The Engineering Delivery Management (EDM) role is focused on technical management of all engineering activities. They provide direction, guidance, expert advice, mentoring, support, audit, and workflow management (tasking prioritisation and resource coordination) in support of achieving project objectives and milestones in accordance with the approved schedule. The EDM will manage a multi-skilled team of system, software, integration, V&V and infrastructure engineers to provide on time delivery of services and support for systems and/or sub-systems of products, or for projects, across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

· Provide direction, expert advice, mentoring, and workflow management (including task prioritisation and resource coordination) in support of achieving project objectives and milestones

· Lead a multi-skilled team of engineers to deliver software engineering solutions, aligning team capability to meet customer expectations

· Lead technical reviews, workshops, peer reviews and project reviews as appropriate for the program

· Prepare and lead the monthly TFR and support the WPPR

• Communicate, analyse, plan and report as necessary to align team capability and customer expectations

Qualifications

· Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or other relevant qualification

Essential Experience

· Solid experience of managing the development of real time distributed complex software centric solutions in a safety critical environment

· Solid experience in total life cycle of complex software development, including processes and responsibilities at each stage in the cycle

· Solid knowledge and experience in Systems Engineering lifecycle (eg. EIA632, ISO/IEC15288)

· Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders across a complex environment

· Solid eperience of leading and mentoring team of multi-skilled engineering team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment

Position overview

Hitachi Asia Ltd. is searching for a Deputy Site Service Manager to join the Particle Therapy Systems Division for its Proton Beam Therapy (PBT*) project at National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS).

The Deputy Site Service Manager will be responsible for daily technical operation and maintenance of the PBT system installed at National Cancer Centre Singapore and will lead a team “Service and Maintenance Organization (SMO)” and supervise its activities. • Implement groupwide Talent Management Initiatives for Hitachi Asia and Hitachi group companies.
• Mobilize the right talent for the right roles at the right time across Hitachi group companies.

3. Employee Engagement (20%):

• Analyze results of employee engagement surveys and share the analysis with the leadership team and business lines.
• Formulate and execute action plans for improving employee engagement based on analysis results.
• Plan and coordinate employee engagement activities.

4. HR Communication (10%):

• Plan, organize, and collaborate with Hitachi Asia country HR to execute the Asia Human Capital Conference.
• Support the organization of HR Managers Meetings in each Hitachi Asia location.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in HRBP roles, minimum 5 years
• Strong understanding of talent management, HR communication, and employee engagement.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel and work in different countries as this position requires frequent business travel.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing end-to-end delivery of atleast 2-3 applications, good client communication skills, stakeholder management ability.

Have good technical knowledge in Pega with the ability to take Architectural decisions and solutioning. Additionally, domain experience in Airlines is good to have.

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Managing the overall project delivery and ensure delivery schedule is adhered
• Prepare delivery schedule, effort and cost based on the client requirements and provide walkthrough o client on the same
• Project Manager will be liable to achieve client sign-off on schedule, effort and cost presented
• Providing weekly status reports to stakeholders
• Ensuring that the project is timely by setting time marks
• Facilitates daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective meetings.
• Tracks and manages product backlog, burn-down metrics, velocity, and task break-down
• Helps product owner to make the product backlogs in good shape and make them ready for the next sprint
• Responsible to provide architectural solutions and do hands on with the team members to deliver technical requirement in Pega.
