Responsibilities

• Inventory management: Ensure stock counts are accurate, and plan storage solutions to maximize space
• Safety compliance: Develop plans to ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe work environment
• Receiving, warehousing, and distribution: Oversee these operations to ensure they comply with company policies
• Staff management: Lead and motivate a team of warehouse workers, supervisors, and support staff
• Data analysis and reporting: Analyze data and provide insights to improve productivity
• Communication: Communicate with staff and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
• Problem-solving: Recommend plans to improve productivity and solve complex operational challenges

• Product Design & Development:

1. Lead the design and development of high performance power Inductor to meet market needs of digital evolution and electrification of vehicles, creating new economy opportunities and enhancing local engineering knowledge base.
2. In addition to high-performance product structure design, strengthen and develop technical skills of the team, including expertise in core magnetic material technology.
3. Utilize CAD software to create detailed design schematics, prototypes, and models.
4. Apply engineering principles to ensure robust, manufacturable, and cost-effective product designs.
5. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to finalize designs for production.

• Customer Engagement & Application Engineering:

1. Visit customers to understand their unique challenges, requirements, and applications.
2. Provide application engineering support by offering technical expertise, recommendations, and product solutions tailored to customer needs.
3. Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers, ensuring a clear understanding of design features and performance.
4. Act as a liaison between customers and the internal engineering teams, translating customer feedback into actionable design improvements.

• Product Testing & Validation:

1. Define and execute testing protocols to validate designs against customer requirements and industry standards.
2. Analyze test results, identify potential issues, and implement design modifications to improve performance, safety, and reliability.
3. Ensure that products meet regulatory compliance standards.

• Continuous Improvement:

1. Lead continuous improvement efforts to optimize product performance, reduce production costs, and enhance the overall product lifecycle.
2. Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative engineering culture.

• Process Design & Optimization:

1. Work with the manufacturing team to improve and refine processes for efficiency, quality, and cost control.
2. Ensure seamless transition from design to production by creating comprehensive documentation and detailed process instructions.
3. Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and quality enhancements across the product lifecycle.

Job Requirement

• Relevant degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in product design in manufacturing field.
• Advanced proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) and simulation tools.
• Familiarity with simulation software for magnetic and electrical design analysis.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Willing to travel to Indonesia, as and when necessary.
