Finance Manager (Commodity Trading)

Our client is a UK headquartered, reputed trading company with a significant presence in Singapore. They are seeking a Finance Manager to join their dynamic team. This role reports to the Group Financial Controller.

Depending on level of experience, this could also be Senior Manager role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the finance functions for the main trading entity and regional subsidiaries of the Group.
• Lead and mentor a team of Senior/Accounts Executives and Senior/Invoicing Assistants based across APAC.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly management accounts and reports.
• Oversee the preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations.

Requirements:

• 5–7+ years of experience in finance roles.

• Familiarity with accounting systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics is advantageous.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE

This role will be a part of a team critical in the Energy Transition journey from brown to green.

Purpose and Scope

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Respond promptly to guest and operational maintenance requests to minimize disruptions.

What we need from you

• At least a Diploma either in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field with three years' experience in related work.
• Proven experience in project management in similar industry, with at least two years of experience in supervisory role.
• PUB Certified Water Efficiency Manager is preferred.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Familiarity with energy efficiency programs and sustainability initiatives.
• Oral and written fluency in English.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
