• Assist in acquiring new customers and sell additional products to existing ones through identifying new sales leads, pitching products and/or services and maintain fruitful relationships with existing customers;
• Research organisations and individuals online (including and not limiting to social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets. Research the needs of other companies and learn who makes decisions about purchasing;
• Contact potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings;
• Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives. Attend meetings, and industry events;
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations and sales displays, contact clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s products, develop quotes and proposals, negotiate and renegotiate by phone, email, and in person;
• Provide reports and feedback to management about what is and is not working;
• Provide business support in sales activities, logistics and plant operations;
• Assist in managing the daily logistics operations such as ensuring enough supply of raw materials and smooth delivery of products;
• Liaise with the manufacturing unit to meet sales demand and monitor factory KPIs;
• Assist sales managers in trade processing, customer servicing;
• Provide support for internal customers such as overseas subsidiaries as well as monitor their control procedure;
• Monitor the efficiency of the manufacturing plants and oversee production planning;
• Monitor and support management in managing the performance of business units; and
• Other ad-hoc business development and operation assignments

Requirements:

• Preferably a 2nd Class Upper Honours Degree in Engineering, Science (Chemistry / Biochemistry / Food Science & Technology) or Business Studies;
• 3 to 5 years working experience and some experience in business development activities;
• Good with numbers;
• Strong communication skills and IT fluency;
• Creativity and problem solving skills;
• Willing to stay abreast in the industry and its current events;
• Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines;
• Attention to details and good organisation/prioritisation skills; and
• Willing to business travel.

This role involves managing digital campaigns, optimizing online content, and leveraging recruitment-focused marketing to build a strong employer brand and attract qualified candidates.

Job Description and Requirements

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement effective marketing strategies that align with company goals and objectives.

Brand Promotion:

Oversee brand positioning, messaging and campaigns to strengthen brand presence in the market.

Customer Acquisition:

Design and execute campaigns to attract and retain customers, using a mix of digital and traditional marketing channels.

Social Media Management:

Develop and execute social media strategies across various platforms to engage with target audience, increase brand awareness and drive traffic.

Digital Advertising:

Plan, execute, and optimize digital advertising campaigns (eg. Google ads, social media ads) to achieve marketing objectives and maximise ROI.

Market Research:

Analyze market trends, customer behaviour, and competitive landscape to inform strategy and decision making.

Performance Tracking:

Monitor, measure, and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, including social media and digital ads, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve targets.

Collaboration:

Work closely with other departments, including sales and product development, to ensure marketing strategies are integrated and supportive of overall business goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conceptualising and creating a mixture of short- and long-form content in the areas of giving, volunteerism and philanthropy for NVPC's website and social media marketing channels
• Work with the Corporate Marketing team to contribute to the content planning and execution process
• Where needed, liaise with newsmakers and external bodies to conduct interviews and produce content
• Support in the planning and marketing efforts for the City of Good Summit and City of Good Film Festival
• Help with simple design work, such as creating, adapting or resizing key visuals for website and social media marketing
• Will be a bonus if the candidate has video production and/or editing skills for content creation

• Having experience is not mandatory, but a keen interest to learn and grow is ideal
• Familiar with the key social media platforms, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok.

• Basic proficiency in Illustrator or Photoshop or Canva

• Research latest paid media landscape and showcase best practices
• Social media content landscape report of competitors and audiences in Singapore

• Minimum: Studying in a polytechnic/university Marketing, Creative, Journalism
• Has a keen interest with decent photography skills
• Basic knowledge/skills in Photoshop, illustrator, InDesign and Canva
• Great if have knowledge in basic video editing and motion graphics
• Support digital marketing campaign setup and digital marketing analytics
• Support development of ad creatives (images, videos) for all paid advertising
• Support Google Ad copies for NVPC and its programmes
