Job Description

• Responsible for developing safe work practices of mechanic team
• Responsible for all machineries and equipment repair and maintenance works (drilling equipment, heavy construction equipment)
• Hands on troubleshooting and repairing (on-site and off-site)
• Enhance preventative maintenance for all machinery and equipment
• Responsible for record keeping (service report) and issuance of monthly maintenance checklist
• Provide technical support to operation team to achieve productivity, technical, quality and safety requirement
• Coordinate with PE and relevant parties for insurance and LM registration or renewal

Conduct training on safe operating procedures of machineries and equipment

Requirements:

• Able to comprehend instructions and communicate in English language
• Able to understand drawing and operation manual
• Able to operate basic computer skills (eg, Microsoft Office, Email)
• Teamwork and committed to task delegated
• Able to work under pressure in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Posses class 3 driving license will be a plus
• NITEC/Diploma in Mechanical or Mechatronic engineering, or similar trade knowledges
• Familiar with construction machinery equipment industry (service, repair, maintain excavator, crane, boring rigs, generator, cement mixer, pumps-engine, hydraulic and mechanical/electronic components etc)
• Possess at least 2 years of similar background experiences

Your Responsibilities: -

• Conduct inspections, repairs, overhauls, servicing, and component/part replacements for all vehicles.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot vehicle issues and rectify defects.
• Perform testing on parts and systems to verify their proper functionality.
• Employ testing equipment to validate the effectiveness of repairs and maintenance.
• Document inspection tests and record results accurately.
• Uphold a consistently high standard of maintenance and repair work.
• Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment through regular housekeeping.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, and repair forklifts, Prime Movers, Lorries, and Trailers.
• Disassemble, overhaul, repair, and reassemble engines, transmissions, clutches, brakes, electrical systems, fuel systems, and other vehicle components.
• Perform scheduled equipment services, ranging from minor to major services.
• Utilize various tools, including precision instruments, welding equipment, shop machines, overhead hoists, and power tools, to make necessary adjustments and repairs.
• Complete all required internal paperwork accurately, including work orders, safety inspections, and timesheets.
