MECHANIC

Requirements

· Candidate must possess at least Primary School Level/Form 5.

· At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

· Perform Processes at least a Class 3 Driving License

· Perform daily repair and maintenance of equipment on site. Works closely with your team in order to get the job done in a proper manner as soon as possible. Report to your superior after each job is done or proceed to the next job as per instructed.

· Able to diagnose and repair issue on Forklift

· Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately

· Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)

· Maintain equipment and tools in good condition

· Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods

· Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment

· Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.

· Follow and comply with all safety rules and regulations at all times to prevent any unwanted hiccups or accidents in the workshop area and/or office in general, Customer’s site area and on the road.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance, servicing, overhauls, and troubleshooting on vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.
• Inspect and check braking systems, and carry out repairs and brake improvement projects when needed.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance tasks and take on enhancement projects as assigned. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

• Minimum O level, NITEC, or Higher NITEC in Automotive Technology (Heavy Vehicles) or Motor Vehicle Mechanics.

Job Responsibilities:

To carry out servicing & repairs on buses & trucks

To carry out component overhaul

To carry out fault diagnosis on buses & trucks

Perform regular checks on vehicles to ensure functionality

Ensure that all vehicles are in compliance with Transport Safety regulations

Requirements:

Minimum NTC, NITEC or Technical Trade Certificate

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in servicing and repairing buses/trucks

Able to carry out simple faulty diagnosis in motor vehicles
